This combination proves its original intention and deep loyalty with its complete return. What kind of new chapter will be written in the future is also highly anticipated.
Q: What do you think about the combination regressing in a complete body?
Mark: Because I have been preparing for the return of the group since last year, I finally feel the feeling of returning. I feel very happy to think of meeting fans as soon as possible.
JAY B: I am really lucky to be able to return in full with 7 people. I sincerely thank the members of the associations and Warner Music who helped us return. I feel like I am dreaming. Although I said I would return in full with 7 people from the beginning, even I felt like I was dreaming, which was an exciting moment.
Zhenrong: Just as Brother Mark said, it was agreed from the beginning that he would return together, so he just needed to wait slowly. Thank you very much for returning so quickly. Jackson: Each of the members has their own team and club. It is not easy for 7 people to get together, like a miracle. I feel very, very happy to be able to complete the album so lucky. JAY B: Because it is an album named after the "GOT7" combination, the 7 people start with this, and there should be a lot of time to spend together in the future. This seems to be the time when the name GOT7 is printed in each other's hearts again. In a state of exhaustion, hope our music and performances will bring healing to fans. I think this is an album carefully prepared for fans.
Q: The title song "NANANA" is a song written and composed by member JAY B. It is full of the unique brightness and Chill feeling of the group. The POP sound and guitar loop impressed, blending the heart of a gift-like song that wanted to give to long-awaited fans and to make the public happy.
Zhenrong: I think this is the most in line with the GOT7 style."Isn't this the image of GOT7?", "How to do the most like GOT7?", chose the title song with such a mentality. The songs sung when they were shining on the stage were all produced by Brother JB. I think that only the album that can best show the "This is the color of GOT7" with such music.
Youqian: When I first heard this song, I felt that it was "very in line with the style of GOT7". Although it was a song made by my brother who wanted to combine it, it was also a song made with the hope of becoming the title song. Especially in line with the style of GOT7.
Jackson: It's too consistent with the musical color of the combination. This is what the songs we sang before. If we make this kind of music, we can show it more freely on the stage. This is the style of GOT7.
Q: The new album also includes 6 songs of various genres, and the members are also actively participating in it, showing a broad range of music.
JAY B: We all participated in the process of song production and selection, conducted blind selection tests on the collection and written demos, and also talked to Warner Music, and agreed that the songs we produced were very consistent with the color of the combination, so this time we filled the new album with the self-composition of the members.
Youqian: Because the members know each other very well, we are very confident that we can do the best in the songs we write.
Q: After GOT7 ended its exclusive contract with JYP in January last year, the members each signed contracts with different affiliates, focusing on personal activities. While carrying out personal activities, the members have a strong will to return the whole body of the group and have been preparing for a new album. The new album is a meaningful album that proves that 7 members can still work together.
Mark: For the sake of fans, members would like to release albums together, this is the will of a group. When 7 people are together, we can enjoy the stage happily, so we have never given up. The 7 people were very interesting when they were together and they were very close to each other, so we wanted to be together all the time.
BamBam: Because I made an agreement with my fans, I wanted to abide by the agreement. Many people misunderstood and wanted to prove through the new album that our GOT7 has not been disbanded.
Youqian: We have been together for more than 10 years, so I think it is natural for us to be GOT7.
JAY B: We want to return to the combination GOT7 after leaving JYP, and make the name GOT7 formalized. In the process, I think my self-esteem and confidence have improved, which has led to the launch of high-quality works that I am proud of. I will not lose my original aspiration. Although people will always change, grow, and move forward, I have a lot of thoughts during my personal activities. "I feel the fun and desire in my personal activities, but I will not forget where I started." Being able to release an album under the name GOT7 is a moment to not forget your original intention. Because the album title is "GOT7", the sense of responsibility has also increased.
Q: What has the past 7 years mean to members? Among the many milestone moments, what is the most memorable moment?
Zhenrong: While preparing this album, I remembered a lot of things when I debuted. The time between them is not very long, and like when they debuted, they performed the album with tension and excitement. Now the members are in the second half of their 20s and are about to be 30. They meet together after a long time, just like when they are in their early 20s. Being with the members feels like I’m back in the past. The past 7 years seem to be the root of the link's future time. Because the members have been together for 7 years, I think it’s enough to just keep moving forward.
BamBam: 7 years is meaningful time. Because of this time, today's GOT7 is here. And the future plan is of course to produce music as GOT7 and release an album. Although we cannot tell you when it is here, GOT7 will continue to focus on combination activities. I hope everyone will look forward to it in the future.
JAY B: 7 years are like albums for us, like the records and albums accumulated and sorted out bit by bit so far. This is a precious time. To be honest, that period of time could not have been beautiful all the time. Although I had painful time, happy and sad time, I think that was the study time to lay a solid foundation, and it was more like the time to grow again, and I also needed to continue to grow in the future. Although the group cannot act as persistently as before in the future, it will always show the appearance of the group and the diverse appearance of our concentrated personal activities. After this performance, I had this idea. I wanted to hold a celebration-like performance after digesting my personal schedule (the members also said it was great).
