Recently, the BIAD-Architect Institute of Architecture and Urban Design announced the implementation design plan for a brand new Indigo Hotel. At present, the project is in the implementation stage. Lugu Lake, located in Ninglang County, Lijiang City, is the main settlement of the Mosuo people. It is known as the "pearl of the plateau". The landscape is led by Pan Asia International Landscape Design Co., Ltd. . The internal design is the familiar P49, which can be described as a strong alliance.

Hotel is built along the mountains, surrounded by greenery. When you arrive at the main entrance, you can feel the unique natural aura of the destination. After entering the main entrance, a waterscape filters out the fatigue and hustle and bustle of the journey, combining the real and the world, and blending the world.

From the hotel lobby, you can feel the symbols and reinterpretation of Mosuo culture. Lead guests to experience the unique ethnic neighborhood culture of Lugu Lake destination.

According to the introduction, the hotel takes the central landscape wetland as the core and spreads step by step. It is divided into three levels of courtyard systems, namely, the courtyard-yard-gardens and each other, which form a complete sequence of semi-private-semi-public-public spaces. Finally, it is hoped to reproduce the traditional courtyard order of Mosuo.

In the design of the newly built guest room area, it draws on the characteristics of traditional Mosuo residential buildings and adopts the practice of hanging mountain double slope roofs, while combining some hip roofs to create a more vivid skyline. The side railings of the guest bedroom balcony are in the form of rammed earth low walls combined with glass railings, and the traditional Mosuo carved texture is embellished at the railings, which not only retains traditional elements but also enhances the mass of the building facade.

Mysterious Mosuo culture and brilliant Mosuo clothing form the most beautiful and harmonious scenery. The interior design of the guest room is made of red, blue and purple, which are loved by the Mosuo people as the main decorative colors, and matched with the texture of the wood to create a unique travel experience. The

hotel is expected to open in 2024. After its official opening, it will become the second Indigo brand hotel in Lijiang, as well as another popular resort hotel, and attract countless guests to go on vacation to Lugu Lake.
