The defense department of the Taiwan authorities held a media invitation event at the Institute of Aeronautics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Taiwan to showcase the independent research and development results of the drone , and for the first time, it was revealed that the Taiwan Army spent NT$779.989,000 to purchase 50 sets and 100 "tactical short-range unmanned flight reconnaissance vehicle" rotor-type drones. There are also displays Ruiyuan Type 1 drone, anti-radiation drone , Jianxiang drone, and the large Tengyun drone that is still under development.
Qi Liping said that the flight guide distance of the rotor-type drone is 30 kilometers and can be stuck in the air for 1 hour. The shooting screen has 4K image quality and anti-interference capabilities. It can assist Taiwan Army troops in short-range and urban tactical reconnaissance and surveillance, and share detection information with combat units in real time.
Taiwan's "Central Academy of Sciences" pointed out that the current mass production and delivery progress is normal, and it is expected to enhance the Taiwan military's real-time investigation and sight-catching capabilities outside the visual range; in terms of operation, it can "take off with one click" and "land independently with one click", and is equipped with color, infrared and heat-conducting images that enhance night detection.
