"JR Kyoto Station" is a large station composed of Shinkansen , JR, Kintroduction tram , subway . There are many shops and shopping centers in the station, and there are also many shopping points around, especially the north exit of Kyoto Tower, which is so popular!
However, because everyone has different tastes and preferences... so please forgive me. is not sharing "must buy souvenirs" here.

South Territory "Kintetsu famous shop street" also has several shopping centers near, including "Avanti" , "Tang Ji Kede" , "AEON Mall》; "Avanti" , "Tang Ji Kede" is in the same building, "Tang Ji Kede" has souvenirs , medicine cosmetics , electrical appliances , "Avanti" has GU and
0-yuan store Dachuang . In addition,
floors also have entering the animation and idol store ; I personally prefer to visit another building with GAP, forever21, ZARA and other brands. There are really a lot of shopping places here, and I can't finish it if I stay for a few days!

mainly has three shopping points (take notes quickly):
The western half of the main building is "Kyoto Isetan Department Store" , the underground floor has "The CUBE" , and the north exit has underground shopping street "Porta" ; there are also shopping points and attractions such as "Kintetsu Store Street" , "Kyoto Isetan SUVACO" , "Kyoto ramen road" , "Great Stage" and so on.

But to be honest... Because every point is connected, it will be very similar to walking around with a maze. I can't figure out where I go. The best way is to go wherever I go and where I eat!

As for the language part, some counters in have their own Chinese explanation . When consulting the clerk with , they will show the instructions in various languages to the customers. Some counters will directly place instructions in multiple languages at the counter.
[Kintetsu Meidian Street] is my first stop in Kyoto because the accommodation we booked is "Xindu Hotel" , and you can find food and transportation when you go out and you will have it as soon as you walk out of the hotel gate! (The hotel part is left to another article to share separately)

is located at the southern end of "JR Kyoto Station" southwest side , the western half is a restaurant concentration area, and the eastern half is mostly a concentration area for daily necessities and Kyoto famous products, and there are also several restaurants.

"Western Half Restaurant Concentration Zone"

There are really many delicacies here, it doesn't matter if you can't understand Japanese words. There are physical models at the door of each store for reference, and the prices are also transparent... The dishes in each store are so rich that I have a barrier to choosing. I really want to share every store with every meal!
The food street also has several restaurants facing the outside, don’t forget to go and have a look!

Look carefully on the pedestrian street outside. Some shops are small and there are several small regular SPA massage shops... Unlike the SPA halls in Taiwan and mainland China, each one is bigger and luxurious than the other, but this place is small and beautiful, and wins with technology.
"East Half Life Grocery, Pharmaceutical Cosmetics, Kyoto Famous Products Souvenirs"

mm shop streets have counters for UNIQLO, but there are no large overseas branches in the shopping area.
along the way are souvenirs, mostly matcha, but there are not as many daily necessities as souvenirs... However, it is better to remind everyone that when looking for money in , you must pay attention to whether the money the store is looking for is the right !
Although most store owners are very polite, there are also a few store owners who find the wrong money because of their busy schedule, which can easily cause disputes.

There is a very long escalator from the station hall to the 4th floor outside the east side of "Kyoto Isetan" , and there will be a very long staircase area extending from the 4th floor to the 11th floor.

"Great Stage" is one of the must-visit attractions in Kyoto Station. Each staircase is covered with LED lights, like a light and waterfall, presenting the patterns of major famous attractions in Kyoto through light and shadow conversion.
But because is just a very ordinary and inconspicuous step area during the day, it is recommended that you enjoy at night at and it will be more beautiful and romantic. At the latest, it will only be at 10:00 pm . You must also seize the time so that you won’t be able to squeeze in a good position!

Let me talk about it off topic...
This trip to Kyoto made me find that the toilets in Japan are quite interesting!
In addition to throwing toilet paper into the toilet after use, special buckets for sanitary tampons, and most toilets in public toilets are treatment-free toilets that can wash their butts are not uncommon... There is a sound of running water in every toilet !

Personally guess... Maybe it's because the Japanese are embarrassed to let others hear the sound of their excretion, so they cover it with the sound of running water? Moreover, tourist attractions also see such buttons! Very interesting, right?
[ experience sharing ]
When traveling to Japan, many people will inevitably search for souvenirs on the Internet to search for articles and must-buy souvenirs... But after my actual experience, I should just buy what I like. At most, I don’t know if this thing is good or not and then crawl online to read the contents and share it!
After all, everyone has different preferences... It is not necessarily that others say it is delicious and useful, but you will definitely be suitable for it.
Take the souvenir for example~ Before leaving, many people on the Internet strongly recommended how delicious "Baqiao" is... But I actually tried it, and I personally think it was too sweet and not my preference; some people also strongly recommend some masks to be useful, but I think that the material of that mask is too rough and not as delicate and easy to use as Taiwan’s local mask.
So, share your personal real experience... Just buy what you like and think is delicious and useful!
