Although the "Three Pure Ones" are the highest gods in the "Gods and Immortals" of Taoism, there are three other gods. Although their status is not as good as the "Three Pure Ones", their "appearance time" is earlier than the "Three Pure Ones", and these three are - "Three Officials Emperors".
The so-called "three officials" refer to "heavenly officials", " earthly officials " and " water officials ", and their full names are: "Shangyuan first-rank heavenly officials bless emperor", "Zhongyuan second-rank ge local officials pardon the sins the emperor" and "Xiaoyuan third-rank water officials solve the misfortune emperor". Obviously, in their full name, the three words "Shangyuan", "Zhongyuan" and "Xiaoyuan". In fact, there is another title of "Three Officials Emperor", that is " Three Yuan Emperor ". We still look at the "three officials" of "heaven", "earth", and "water". In ancient times, both people's production capacity and cognitive ability were very low, so this inevitably led to the original worship of nature. "Shangyuan Day" is the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, "Zhongyuan Day" is the fifteenth day of the seventh month of the lunar month, and "Xiaoyuan Day" is the fifteenth day of the lunar month, and "Xiaoyuan Day" is the fifteenth day of the lunar month, and "Heavenly Officials", "Diyuan Officials" and "Water Officials" of " Sanguan Emperor " correspond to their birth dates: "Shangyuan Day", "Zhongyuan Day" and "Xiaoyuan Day", so the "Sanguan Emperor" is also called "Sanyuan Emperor".
