China Taiwan Network reported on April 12th, according to Taiwan's "Dongsen News Cloud", the Kuomintang's Central Committee meeting on the 11th nominated former deputy mayor Hou Youyi by New Taipei City, and Taoyuan City's "legislator" Chen Xuesheng. Among the 22 counties and cities, 15 counties and cities have been nominated.
Wu Dunyi emphasized that only by uniting and mobilizing within the party and working together with the Party Central Committee can we win all types of elections at the end of the year. The end-of-year election is related to the overall development of Taiwan in the future. For our party, we can only return to power smoothly by defeating 2018 and 2020.
According to reports, the Kuomintang Taipei City part of the primary election poll time is from April 29 to May 1. The Taipei City Party Department expects to announce the poll results on May 2. Another 6 counties and cities are waiting to coordinate and adjust and hope to complete the layout before early May.
As of now, the Kuomintang has approved the recruitment or nomination of 15 counties and cities in 7 stages. In order, Miaoli County recruited Xu Yaochang, Nantou County slogan Lin Mingchen, Lianjiang County slogan Liu Zengying, Changhua County slogan Wang Huimei; Hsinchu City slogan Xu Mingcai, Yunlin County slogan Zhang Lishan, Yilan County slogan Lin Zimiao, Taitung County slogan Rao Qingling, and Hualien County slogan Xu Zhenwei; Keelung City slogan Xie Ligong; Taichung City slogan Lu Xiuyan; Taichung City slogan Lu Minhui; Penghu County slogan Lai Fengwei; Penghu County slogan Lai Fengwei; Nominated Hou Youyi; Taoyuan City slogan Chen Xuesheng.
