In order to help users travel more conveniently and safely, Tencent Map recently launched the "Epidemic Area Navigation Avoidance" function after the "Four Anti-epidemic Maps", and one-click navigation to avoid medium and high-risk areas and closed-dock prevention areas, providing safety guidance for users to travel by themselves.
When the user is navigating the "driving" route on the homepage of Tencent Map APP, if the route passes through the epidemic area, there will be a red prompt box on the page. Click the "Try to Avoid" button to re-plan the navigation route and avoid medium and high-risk areas and areas for the epidemic. If the starting and end point is in the epidemic area, the page will also provide a risk warning for the starting and end point, and remind you to pay attention to prevention and control policies and travel safely. The "Epidemic Regional Navigation Avoidance" function currently supports driving navigation route prompts and avoidance across the country. Users can reasonably plan and arrange holiday travel according to the epidemic prevention and control measures in their current location.
In February this year, based on the epidemic prevention and control policies divided by various regions, Tencent Map agilely launched the "epidemic control map". In addition, the previous national medium and high-risk area maps provide strong data support for this "epidemic area navigation and avoidance" function. Based on the rapidly updated epidemic data, Tencent Map realizes smarter new route planning and calculation capabilities, and realizes the rapid launch of navigation and avoidance functions.
Since the epidemic, Tencent Map has continuously used digital technology to help precise epidemic prevention and control and promote the construction of social emergency networks. In the new stage of the epidemic in 2022, Tencent Map quickly launched the "Four Anti-epidemic Maps": Search the keyword "epidemic" on the homepage of Tencent Map app to understand the local epidemic risk areas and the three areas of the closure and prevention; search for "case trajectory" to query the case activity trajectory in the last one day, 7 days, and 14 days, effectively avoid the epidemic places; in Shenzhen, citizens search for "nucleic acid testing" on the homepage to view the details and congestion of nearby nucleic acid sampling points, and navigate to the one-click; and "The National Construction Epidemic Map" provides a convenient platform for feedback and sharing of epidemic information, and citizens participate in the joint fight against the epidemic through the "epidemic feedback" function.
