We've entered November, but Dwight Howard is still a free agent. The eight-time All-Star player already has some team ideas, which also happens to include the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
Recently in an interview with Shannon Sharp, Howard made some compelling views explaining why Stephen Curry and Warriors should seriously consider signing him on the roster. According to the former Los Angeles Lakers big man, he strongly believes that the Warriors' young center James Wiseman will be one of his biggest benefactors since his arrival:
"Oh my goodness, this is perfect," Howard said of the possibility of joining the Warriors. "…I'm Dwight Howard. Wiseman can learn a lot from me because he's heading towards becoming a great big guy."
However, this is not all Wiseman's business. Howard also believes that if Curry has his own position, he will be more prosperous himself:
Howard said: "Curry, under my cover, he will get more opens." "The same is true for Klay (Thompson). Drummond ( Green ) pick-and-roll me and him. I can teach Wiseman to defend, how to block the shot..."
Dwight Howardming It is true that he hasn't retired yet, and he would rather play at least another year - if you can say that, it's a farewell:
He said: "I'm very willing to play season 19 and end the game at its peak." "I'm very happy to do that. That would be great, and there's still the parade I deserve."
Should the Warriors get Dwight Howard? He wants to be a mentor to James Wiseman!
Dwight Howard is no longer his former MVP front-runner, but it is undeniable that he can still bring a lot of things. Should the Warriors seriously consider signing this person?
