Tiger Pu February 18th Lakers forward LeBron James recently announced that he will enter the children's books field, and his first book, "I Promise", will be released in August this year. The book revolves around James' "I Promise" program, including the I Promise School and the LeBron James Family Foundation, which he founded.

James talked about his future plans in an interview with USA Today reporter Jeff Zillgitt.
"Books have the power to educate, motivate and unite people, which is why creating opportunities for children to read together with parents means a lot to me," James said.
"The most important thing is that we want to make sure that kids can find themselves in these stories, and I promise is extremely powerful in that, and I can't wait to let people see it," James continued.
James has been a keen person since he was a child. In an interview, he shared the impact of reading on him when he was young and how important he believed books were to his growth.
"I used to be the only child in school to read newspapers," James said. "I will read Sports Illustrated from beginning to end. I will read all the articles, not only pictures. I will also rent books. In the library in the center of Akron , I will read basketball encyclopedia, just to try to understand the history of the sport."
