Henan Zhumadian Reservoir
In August 1975, due to the super heavy rainstorm caused by super strong typhoon Lena, it caused a flood in the upstream of the Huaihe . Dozens of reservoirs including two large reservoirs in Zhumadian area of Henan Province collapsed. Shimantan , Tiangang Reservoir collapsed, Li River broke, flood peaks in the basin all over Zhumadian, and Laowangpo flood storage areas broke one after another.
