Currently, the "nine-in-one" election in Taiwan has entered the countdown, and the DPP's election situation is in urgent need. According to the latest poll, the Kuomintang will win 15 seats by the end of the year, while the Democratic Party will only hold 5 seats. The Democratic Party and the non-party will each win one seat, and the mayor of Taipei will be won by the Kuomintang candidate Jiang Wanan. This reflects the mainstream public opinion on the island. It is unpopular for the DPP authorities to advocate "anti-China and protect Taiwan".
The DPP’s election situation is in urgent need, how is it possible for the green camp to wail? Because if the DPP can only hold 5 seats, it will be one less seat than in 2018. The reason why the DPP's election situation is urgent is that it is a matter of being in front of us and behind us. Whether it is the so-called "anti-China" or "protecting Taiwan", it is all about defrauding the people's votes and stimulating the island's populist , thereby continuing the political life of the DPP. They do not really take the interests of the people on the island's people's interests at all, but regard the people as a tool for their independence and political self-interest.
Some Taiwanese media revealed that the DPP refused to actively purchase BNT vaccines in the past because it was concerned about BNT's agency rights. It is impossible to accept that it is "domestic capital" just by being "agent". But now, the company entrusted to the second phase of the high-end vaccine experiment is "domestic capital". The health authorities of the DPP authorities and Chen Shizhong rudely say that they are unwilling to let the public understand the truth. This is hypocrisy and typical double standards. The so-called "anti-China" is a deception. As for the DPP's past calls for "protecting Taiwan" and hopes to use this to boost the election, but the people's eyes are bright. In August this year, the People's Liberation Army held a large-scale joint military exercise "surrounding Taiwan". The missile flew over Taipei, but the Taiwan military did not respond at all. It neither sounded the alarm nor dared to intercept it. The DPP said that "protecting Taiwan" and could not provide any means, which is also a fraud.
In fact, Zheng Yunpeng, the candidate for Taoyuan mayor of the DPP, also admitted "Taiwan, China". According to Taiwanese media disclosure, Zheng Yunpeng, who was elected as a "legislator" in 2008, went to the mainland to do business, established "European New Media" with a capital of 56 million yuan, and filed a patent application for "a mobile communication system that provides audio, video, graphics and information" to National Intellectual Property Office . In the patent application, Zheng Yunpeng stated that his nationality is China and his residence is in Taipei City, Taiwan, China. Ling Tao, a candidate for Taoyuan City of the Kuomintang, said that there is no problem with cross-strait economic and trade exchanges. There is no problem with everyone's communication according to existing procedures. The most problematic one is the double standard, which is the standard proposed by the DPP itself. While they secretly obtain benefits from the mainland, they also obstruct others from conducting normal trade exchanges with the mainland. This is a typical "double standard". In response, Zheng Yunpeng argued: "It was applied through a patent company at that time, and the format was not written by him."
For a long time, there have been many "two-faced people" on the island. They go to the mainland to make money and profit. After returning to the island to work in politics, they incite "anti-China" sentiment, which is simply "eat big brother, drink big brother, and scold big brother after eating big brother." A Kuomintang official pointed out that in 2008, many people went to the mainland to invest, and the DPP was also a beneficiary. The mainland hopes to release more dividends to the island by increasing cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, but some investments in mainland China have not benefited the people on the island. The opposition Democratic Progressive Party continued to launch political attacks on the ruling Kuomintang in response to this point, and frantically advocated "anti-China and protecting Taiwan", and defeated the Kuomintang in the 2016 election to take office.
However, the DPP authorities are in a state of disregard for their governance and are unable to cope with the challenges of major changes unseen in a century and economic hollowing out. The island's economy continues to be sluggish, especially Taiwanese-funded enterprises are shifting south. The unemployment rate of Taiwanese people, especially college graduates, has continued to rise, and has further taken the time to consume on the island, making life more difficult for the lower class people. Taiwanese people, especially young people, have strong dissatisfaction and disgust towards the DPP authorities due to their difficulties in life. The more fanatical they were at the beginning of the support of the DPP, the more fierce their opposition was now. The reason is very simple. The so-called "new southward strategy" proposed by the DPP authorities has not only failed to enhance the competitiveness of Taiwan, but has instead damaged the vital interests and well-being of the people on the island.
As we all know, the DPP started its own business by advocating "Taiwan independence", while the mainland has been working hard to oppose "Taiwan independence", hoping that they can stop. In the past, in cross-strait exchanges, the mainland never wanted to exclude the DPP, and repeatedly expressed its hope to strengthen exchanges and interactions with people from various parties on the island. No matter what he said and did in the past, as long as he agreed with the core meaning of "one China". During Ma Ying-jeou's eight-year term, as the Kuomintang adhered to the "1992 Consensus ", cross-strait relations achieved peaceful and stable development. County and city mayors from the Democratic Progressive Party also landed in one after another to promote agricultural products. The mainland welcomed them warmly, and gave them face and inner responsibilities. However, after the DPP came to power, it refused to recognize the "1992 Consensus", and cross-strait relations were severely impacted and damaged. At the same time, due to the internal friction on the island for many years, Taiwan's competitiveness has been eroded year by year, and ultimately, it is the vital interests and well-being of Taiwanese compatriots. Recently, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council 1 publicly issued a statement saying that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are Chinese, and compatriots on Taiwan are our flesh and blood brothers. No one wants to see the peaceful reunification of the cross-strait more and more sincerely than us. Countless history and reality show that cross-strait cooperation will benefit both sides, and split will harm both sides. Where will the future go depends only on the DPP authorities' thoughts.
