Recently, the Hubei Provincial Tourism Bureau sent a notice that Hubei Xiaogan Zhuhu National Wetland Park has its unique natural landscape, ecological landscape and tourism resources, and has been reviewed by the expert-level landscape reviewer meeting and reported to the National for approval as a national 3A-level tourist attraction.

Zhuhu National Wetland Park, has strong water town lake characteristics, has superior location, convenient transportation, and rich animal and plant resources.

Zhuhu National Wetland Park started construction in 012 , and in December 2013 was approved as a pilot of the National Wetland Park.

Park planned total area is 156 hectares, mainly river wetlands, lake wetlands, and reservoir pond wetlands.

After 15 years of ecological restoration and protection of , after monitoring, the wetland park has vascular plants 6 family 78 genera 25html, wild animal 2 order 1 family 76html, fish 0 species.
