After arriving in Taiwan, "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan" successfully moved into Taipei City Zoo . Since then, their every move has attracted much attention from people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Taiwan has invested and built a large panda hall for "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan", which is available from raising workers to raising buildings, from outdoor small gardens to logistics bamboo bases, as well as bamboo storage and artificial childcare supporting facilities. "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan" were well taken care of in Taiwan, and they were healthy and also guaranteed Yuanzai's birth.

In January 2009, "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan" met with Taiwanese people for the first time at the Taipei Zoo, and tens of thousands of people rushed to witness this historic moment.
