Gift Taiwan Giant Panda Tuantuan
In December 2008, with the mainland's deep friendship with Taiwan compatriots, I gave it to the Taiwan Zoo. A pair of giant pandas "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan". The cute giant panda won the incomparable love of the Taiwanese people and also deepened the understanding and feelings between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. On July 6, 2013, the first child " Yuanzai " was born, and on June 28, 2020, the second child "Yuanbao" was born, which was even more happy.
At present, due to the Taiwanese independence elements doing whatever they want, cross-strait relations are very tense and complex, normal cross-strait exchanges have been greatly affected, and cross-strait relations have also become "ill". The responsibility for this result is all with the Taiwan authorities. Although cross-strait political relations are indifferent, they still cannot separate cross-strait family ties. This time, the giant panda "Tuantuan" fell ill, which not only attracted the care and love of Taiwanese people, but also made the mainland people concerned and pay attention. I hope to have the opportunity to play an active role in treating "Tuantuan".
The giant panda "Tuantuan" is sick, and it is because of its age. After all, "Tuantuan" and "Yuanyuan" have been in Taiwan for more than 10 years, and they are also considered a pair of elderly pandas. Relevant Taiwan officials said that it is not ruled out that mainland experts should be invited to treat giant pandas "Tuantuan". We hope that experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait can join hands and do their best to save the life of "Tuantuan" and continue to bring happiness to the people of Taiwan with "Yuanyuan". Tuantuan and Yuanyuan are both loving messengers of the people of the mainland.
The elderly giant panda "tuantuan" and "yuanyuan" will one day leave the world, but the reunion between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait cannot be stopped by anyone. Giant pandas are China's national treasure, and of course Taiwan's national treasure. We can give Taiwan more young giant pandas to send them the deep feelings of mainland people for their Taiwanese compatriots. I hope that "Tuantuan" will recover as soon as possible and cross-strait relations can also recover health. The mainland and Taiwan will always be united and round.
