HDMI interface
HDMI interface is the most mainstream high-definition interface today, its full name is "HD Multimedia Interface", it can support video and audio synchronization. VGA interface
VGA interface is also called D-sub. Its interface has 15 pins, divided into three rows, and belongs to the old interface. Now it has basically begun to be eliminated slowly. In the new graphics card, there are basically no traces of VGA interface. It is basically used on old computers, or on integrated graphics card on new computers. The default transmission of the VGA interface is the 640X480 "standard definition" video signal, which supports resolutions above 1080p and the theoretical maximum is 2048×1536/60Hz.

As we all know, computer graphics cards generate digital signals, and displays use digital signals, so video interface using VGA has undergone digital-to-analog conversion and analog-to-digital conversion and is easily disturbed by signals. DP is the abbreviation of DisplayPort. It is also the mainstream digital high-definition interface currently. It supports a signal line to transmit audio and video signals at the same time. The bandwidth of the first generation DP interface reaches 10.8gbps, and supports 2560X 160012-bit output. Currently, the most popular dp1.2 has exceeded hdmi2.0 21.6gbit/s, and supports 1080p 240, 2k165, 4k75 and 5k30. Dp1.3 supports 2k240, 4k120 and 8k30. The latest dp1.4 supports base, which is the same with bandwidth up to 32.4gbps, but with DSC display compressed stream technology added, it supports 4k240 and 8k60.

DVI interface
DVI0DVI is relatively friendly. Its full name is digital video interface. It is based on TMDS to minimize the transmission of differential signal . It is also the most common and basic display interface a few years ago. The first dvi-a was applied to the VGA simulation era, and then introduced dvi-I with analog and digital transmission. The latest is dvi-d. Single channel supports the same resolution as dual channels, but the refresh rate is only half. Dual channels support up to 1080p 120Hz and 2560 x 1600/60Hz.
Because DVI is a digital video interface, it is undoubtedly much better than the old VGA interface, but like VGA, it supports video and does not support audio. Since the standards were not long-term at the beginning, the DVI bandwidth improvement space and size were not small, and the DVI interface was gradually eliminated.

Type-C interface
Thunder 3 (type-C) is the latest third-generation standard. Now, the type-C interface can be regarded as the product of the original type-C 3 abandoning the Mini-DP interface, changing it to a USB type-C interface, and then cooperating with the USB 3.1 standard. It adopts USB type-C interface, which can realize 40Gbit/s bidirectional data transmission and synchronous transmission of of video, audio and data.
