In order to deepen school-society cooperation, promote the integration of industry and education, and accelerate the construction of applied social work majors, from February 11 to 12, 2022, the Department of Social Work of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Luoyang University of Science and Technology and the Luoyang Xinyi Fuxing Social Work Service Center successfully held a training class for social workers' vocational skills improvement at Xinyi Fuxing Elderly Theater. 15 social workers from Xinyi Fuxing participated in this training.
There are six contents in this training: (1) Standardization of community social work and services (Teacher Lu Shouting); (2) Exploration of basic principles and standardization of group social work (Teacher Lu Shouting); (3) Interpretation of key points of industry standards for case work (Teacher Zeng Jie); (4) Children's social work services (Teacher Sun Weiyi); (5) Investigation and report writing of social work needs (Teacher Zhang Ruiling); (6) Writing and publishing of social work press releases (Teacher Lu Shouting).
Xinyi Fuxing Social Work Service Center is a practice base for the integration of industry and education and school-society cooperation in the social work major of Luoyang Institute of Technology. Every year, students complete professional internships in the center. This training is an important measure to carry out school-society cooperation, deepen industry-society integration, and promote common development. It not only improves the theoretical level and professional skills of the trainees, promotes the standardized development of social work institutions, but also improves the social service awareness and ability of the main lecturers, and promotes the application-oriented development of social work majors.
