In the mid-term calligraphy world of Ming Dynasty , there were several people who supported the sky. They were the four great talents of Jiangnan who were famous in history, such as Tang Bohu, Wen Zhengming , Zhu Yunming and Xu Zhenqing . The calligraphy of these four people has their own characteristics.
Take Zhu Yunming as an example. He was regarded as the "No. 1 person in the Ming Dynasty's cursive " by many later calligraphers. His cursive skills far exceed those of his contemporaries, and it is not an exaggeration to say that he is the best in the Ming Dynasty.
Zhu Yunming, whose courtesy name is Xizhe, was from Changzhou (now Wuxian, Jiangsu). Because of his peculiar appearance, he joked about his ugly self. Because he had branches and fingers on his right hand, he had six fingers, so he called himself Zhishan. He was called "Zhu Jingzhao" by a famous calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty.
I believe everyone is familiar with the name Zhu Zhishan. However, although Zhu Zhishan looks strange, it is not the kind of vulgar and greasy image in film and television dramas. Although he is known as a talented man, he has no real talent and knowledge. On the contrary, he is a talented person and full of knowledge!
He is good at poetry and calligraphy, and is famous throughout the country. He is also well-versed in calligraphy. He is also familiar with all styles. He learns regular script by Zhao Mengfu , Chu Suiliang , and learns Ouyang Xun , Yu Shinan and catches up with the "Two Kings", while cursive script by Li Yong , Huang Tingjian , Mi Fu .
It can be said that he took all the essence of calligraphy from these famous masters of all dynasties, and then integrated it into one, creating a unique style of calligraphy.
"Famous Mountains" says: "Yun Ming's calligraphy went to and from the Jin and Wei dynasties, and became the first in the country."
Qing Dynasty Wang Shu also praised: "There are many calligraphers in Ming, and all of them are together, but Zhu Jingzhao's calligraphy is full of changes and cannot be clues. I have seen hundreds of books in Jingzhao, but no one is the same, and I believe that there is the first hand of Ming." These two comments on the evaluation of Zhu Yunming as the first person in calligraphy in the Ming Dynasty. It can be seen that this is basically a major conclusion in the history of calligraphy.
He has written many masterpieces in his life, and each one is a priceless treasure until now, such as "Taihu Poetry Scroll", "Kumun Introducing", "Previous Red Cliff Fu", etc.
But if you want to say that his most proud and classic work in his later years must be the running and cursive script " Peony Fu ".
"Peony Fu" is a book written by Zhu Yunming in the spring of the Jiashen (1524) in Jiajing. He was exactly 65 years old at that time. At the invitation of a friend, he wrote this "Peony Fu" in exquisite running and cursive writing. The original author of this article was originally a famous literary writer in Tang Dynasty Shu Yuanyu .
Looking at this cursive running script "Peony Fu", Zhu Yunming wrote about elegant and free and elegant. From it, you can see the charm of Zhong Yao and Wang Xizhi , but it has his own personality.
His calligraphy was in his later years, and it could be said that it was full of style, innocent and elegant, and it was incomparable. It can be seen from this running script "Peony Fu".
This work can be regarded as the best work in the history of calligraphy. Even though nearly 500 years have passed, this work is still regarded as a treasure by later generations.
Nowadays, we will copy Zhu Yunming's running script "Peony Fu" in high definition, restore the original style, and give it to everyone. I hope everyone likes it.
