He learns regular script by Zhao Mengfu , Chu Suiliang , and learns Ouyang Xun , Yu Shinan and catches up with the "Two Kings", while cursive script by Li Yong , Huang Tingjian , Mi Fu .
It can be said that he took all the essence of calligraphy from these famous masters of all dynasties, and then integrated it into one, creating a unique style of calligraphy.

But if you want to say that his most proud and classic work in his later years must be the running and cursive script " Peony Fu ".
"Peony Fu" is a book written by Zhu Yunming in the spring of the Jiashen (1524) in Jiajing. He was exactly 65 years old at that time. At the invitation of a friend, he wrote this "Peony Fu" in exquisite running and cursive writing. The original author of this article was originally a famous literary writer in Tang Dynasty Shu Yuanyu .
Looking at this cursive running script "Peony Fu", Zhu Yunming wrote about elegant and free and elegant. From it, you can see the charm of Zhong Yao and Wang Xizhi , but it has his own personality.
