In counties and districts around Changli, when it comes to Yangzhuang people in Nijing Town, almost everyone knows it. This kind of fame is achieved by the shrewd and capable people of Yangzhuang and their brains.
Yangzhuang is a small village with a population of only 300 people and 600 acres of arable land. Qing Dynasty During the Xianfeng period, a family from Yang from Yunnan came here to settle down and build a village, and obtained the village name by their surname. Until the founding of the People's Republic of China, there was only one street in Yangzhuang Village, and more than a dozen families were there.
Yangzhuang Village Breeding Farm
It can be said that Yangzhuang people have the genes of doing business and the mind to do business. As early as the 1950s, when doing business and doing business was still unlawful, villager Li Guoping found that the thread of the soles of the shoe was difficult to buy, and it was a necessity for every household. In those days, there were no various shoe stores, no variety of leather, cloth shoes, owner's shoes, even if it was sold in department stores, most people could not afford it. Therefore, housewives have good skills in placing shoe soles. After discovering business opportunities, Li Guoping learned that only Luan County (now Luanzhou City ) is a major planting county, so he quietly launched the wheelbarrow and went to Luan County to collect the tex. Luan County is about 60 kilometers away from Yangzhuang, and it takes about 15 hours to walk. This is a theoretical calculation. It takes one night to travel to Luan County once, and it is easy to imagine how hard it is. The thread was pushed back, and Li Guoping secretly went from street to sales. Over time, many people in Yangzhuang also followed Li Guoping and pushed a wheelbarrow to Luan County to collect threads. Although it was hard, it also increased a certain amount of income for poor days.
In the 1970s, China's economy was still in a very underdeveloped period. Rural production was based on production teams, and every household lived a relatively hungry and poor life. At that time, bicycles were a luxury item in Chinese society, but also a necessity. Especially a 28-beam bicycle, which had many functions such as transportation and transportation. Especially in rural areas, spring sowing and autumn harvesting were all special helpers for farmers. So many people save money and buy a bicycle.
The most popular bicycle brand at that time was " Feige " and "permanent", among which "Feige" was produced by Tianjin Bicycle Factory. Tianjin Bicycle Factory was founded in 1936 and is the first bicycle factory in China. The factory trial-produced the first bicycle in New China in 1950, named it "Feige Brand".
After the Yangzhuang people discovered this business opportunity, they began to think about buying bicycles. I can't remember exactly when it started. Several young people made an appointment to buy a train ticket to Tianjin. After a reversal, they found the sales office of Tianjin Bicycle Factory to explain their purpose, handed over money that was frugal and hidden on their bodies. They bought two bicycles and embarked on a difficult journey home. More than 200 kilometers, I was riding one, and there was a car tied to the back rack. I was hungry, and I ate the steamed buns I brought from my home. I was thirsty, and I drank the cool white in the marching pot. Some people fell asleep while riding, and fell down and beat the ground. After a night a day, I finally got home. Sell the bicycle and you can earn 30 yuan per car. At that time, this was the monthly income of ordinary workers. For a time, going to Tianjin to buy bicycles became a major source of income for Yangzhuang Village. Anyone in the village who could endure this hardship was to buy bicycles for business. Breaking a bicycle has almost become synonymous with Yangzhuang people. The people of Yangzhuang once proudly said that we would not change even if we gave it to our national cadres. From this we can see that the people of Yangzhuang have money in their pockets, their backs are hard, and their hearts are confident. Every household is no longer the time to make a living by relying on just a few acres of thin land. What we need to be clear is that in the 1970s, during the production team, many villages still lived a life of bran, vegetables and grain for half a year. The shrewdness of Yangzhuang people allows them to discover business opportunities and break out a way to survive that adapts to themselves.
1995 The village party branch won the honor of well-off village
After the reform and opening up, doing business is no longer a sneaky thing. The people of Yangzhuang got rid of the shackles of on their own, and began to embark on the road to well-off.
Every period has social needs for every period, just like in the mid-1980s, bicycles were no longer a necessity for people. And the people of Yangzhuang are able to discover such changes with a keen eye and seize such business opportunities. Around 1986, Chu Jincheng and Chu Baocheng were the first to discover problems in the supply and marketing market of eggs and duck eggs. During that period, large breeding farms were still in their infancy, and the relatively relaxed rural policies opened up a broad path for the rural family breeding industry. In rural areas, almost every household carries out chickens and ducks in courtyards, and eggs and ducks produce overproduction. On the other hand, due to the inconvenience of transportation and industrial chains at that time, the urban market and rural industries were not connected, and there was a relatively insufficient supply of daily necessities such as eggs and meat. Chu Jincheng and Chu Baocheng first rode their bicycles, carried a large frame on one side of the shelf, and began to go through villages and alleys to purchase eggs from rural retail investors, and then carried them to Qinhuangdao Farmers' Market for wholesale. At that time, I could carry 200 kilograms at a time, and I could earn 7-8 cents per kilogram of eggs. As a result, the people of Yangzhuang joined the army selling eggs and duck eggs. As old as seventeen or eighteen years old, as old as fifty or sixty, almost every household is buying eggs and duck eggs. The surrounding villages are gone, so I go to the farther Leting . Every morning at around 4 o'clock, the army of Yangzhuang people who bought eggs and duck eggs set off, and almost didn't eat at noon. At 4 or 5 o'clock in the afternoon, the army of "egg collecting" returned to the village one after another. At that time, almost everyone knew about the Qinhuangdao Farmers' Market. Of course, it is not smooth to enter the market, and even the people of Yangzhuang paid the price of their lives for it. Later, Yangzhuang almost became a distribution center for eggs and duck eggs, and vendors outside began to come to the village to wholesale eggs and duck eggs. In 1992, Yangzhuang became one of the first well-off villages in Changli County.
leeks grown by villagers in Yangzhuang Village
In 2000, society has further developed, people's living standards have been further improved, and the thinking patterns of Yangzhuang people have undergone diversified changes. Business began to attack from all sides, with various forms. With the emergence of the breeding industry in Changli County, the people of Yangzhuang did not rush to breed fur animals, but discovered other business opportunities from the breeding industry. Two of them are: chicken hanger rack and processing pork oil . Chicken racks and lard are essential items in feeding raccoon foxes. After Yangzhuang people discovered this business opportunity, many people wholesale chicken racks and put a grinder on the tricycle, and started to serve in some breeding villages. The breeder needs to trow as much as he wants to earn the difference. Lard is also a necessity for marten fox feed, and the lard provided by Yangzhuang people is of high quality and can also be sold as edible oil. In addition, Yangzhuang people now operate industries such as repairing motorcycles, repairing home appliances, delivering express delivery, delivering takeout, purchasing raccoon skins, operating seafood, operating bran rice bran, rice flour, purchasing wool, corn, scrap, water and electricity installation, making steamed buns, etc. There are many kinds of things, and you can do whatever you want. For a time, a situation in which everyone does business and every household engages in business was formed.
According to the recollections of the older generation, before the founding of the People's Republic of China, there was a temple of God of Wealth in the south of Yangzhuang Village, which was built around the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a place where villagers ask God of Wealth to bless you to make a fortune. It is hard to say whether it has brought wealth to the people of Yangzhuang. However, the people of Yangzhuang rely on their intelligence and hard-working spirit to make their lives richer day by day.
In the past, there was also a businessman named Li Fusheng in the village. Mr. Li was born on October 5, 1913. In his early years, he did business in Shenyang, Northeast China, operating inns, grain stands, and agency stores. During the Japanese devils occupied the Northeast and established the puppet Manchukuo, Li Fusheng donated money and grain to support the Anti-Japanese United Army. He was a democratic and enlightened person at that time. In the Japanese era, China's national industry and commerce were excluded. After Li Fusheng's business went bankrupt, he returned to his hometown. He was kind and generous to his hometown, and many poor people had received his relief. After liberation in 1948, he became a representative of the Poor Poor Association, participated in land reform, and then took the lead in participating in the mutual aid group, junior club , senior club , and the People's Commune. He actively responded to the party's call. The elderly died in 2005 at the age of 93.
Yangzhuang Village Party Secretary’s Wool Warehouse
The old branch secretary Wei Huancheng who is worth remembering. Since 1985, he has served as the Party Branch Secretary of Yangzhuang Village for more than 30 years and has been respected and loved by the villagers. I remember when the land was contracted, the old branch secretary was selfless and concerned about the villagers. Some relatives were dissatisfied with his plan to divide the arable land, so he swung an axe and cut him seriously. At that time, the roads in the village were very difficult to walk, and when the rainy season happened, the roads were muddy. Under the advocacy of the old branch secretary, there were people in the village who had the money to pay, connecting the village roads to the main road, and solving the major problem of more than 300 acres of arable land in the south of Nijinggou in spring sowing and autumn harvest. Before 1995, the village committee had only two small houses and the office conditions were very simple. The old branch secretary replanted the current village committee site and, together with the village committee team, raised funds from multiple sources to build the current village committee. It turned out that there was no low-voltage line in the village land, so the old branch secretary used all the compensation for highway construction to power construction, solving the power problem of arable land. Due to his remarkable achievements during his tenure, he has been commended by superiors many times and has been awarded the honorary titles of outstanding party member and outstanding party branch secretary many times.
After all, the development of a village depends on the efforts of people. It depends on the good leaders in the village, and the hard-working and diligent spirit of the whole village. It is precisely through the continuation of generations and hard work of generations that the people of Yangzhuang have a new and prosperous life today.
