Xinhua News Agency Koyang, South Korea, October 17 (Reporter Lu Rui) The closing ceremony of the 2022 World Skills Competition Special Competition South Korea Division was held in Gaoyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on the 17th. Six Chinese players won 3 gold medals, 1 bronze medal and 2 winning awards , achieving a breakthrough in gold medals and zero medals in multiple events.

Among them, Yang Shuming, a contestant from Guangzhou Institute of Industry and Trade Technicians, won the gold medal in the mobile application development project, becoming the first gold medal winner in the new project in this competition; Luo Kai and Chen Xinyuan, a contestant from Shenzhen Institute of Technology, won the gold medal in the 3D digital game art project and cloud computing project respectively, achieving a breakthrough in gold medals in my country in these two projects; Liang Jun, a contestant from Shanghai Second University of Technology, won the bronze medal in the website design and development project, achieving a breakthrough in the zero medal in my country in this project.
In addition, Wang Xuzheng, a contestant from Xingtai Technician College, and Huang Jinqiang, a contestant from Guangzhou Industrial and Trade Technician College, won the winning awards for the business software solution project and network system management project respectively.
Yang Shuming said in an interview with reporters after the game that he was very happy and excited to win the gold medal. His efforts and efforts have been rewarded. He hopes that in the future, he can inspire more young students to learn skills and serve the motherland like himself.
World Skills Competition is the world's highest-ranking, largest and most influential professional skills competition. It is known as the "World Skills Olympics". Its competitive level represents the world's advanced level of professional skills development today. The 2022 World Skills Competition Special Competition will be held in 15 countries from mid-September to late November, with a total of 62 competition events.
The Korean competition of this special competition opened on October 12. A total of 8 events were held, attracting more than 130 contestants from 34 countries and regions to participate. Chinese players participated in the competition in six of these events.
So far, the Chinese delegation has won 8 gold medals, 1 bronze medal and 4 winning awards in 13 events that have been completed in the 2022 World Skills Competition, temporarily ranking first in the gold medal list.
