Appearance details

As usual, Keychron Q5 offers two options for kit and finished products. The overall layout is the same, but the F keys at the top will be different from different versions. For example, the hand is a relatively serious 98-level assembly. The keys in the area F are separated, but the upper right corner button is replaced with a knob, and the three keys on the left (Del, Home, End) are moved to the left as a whole. Therefore, the numeric keypad area is not considered as an adjustment plan to avoid appearance patents. In addition, there is a full button version, and the number area at the top is not separated, but the F area is not separated, and there are two buttons added as a whole. In terms of ease of use, the knob version has a partition F-zone that is definitely more friendly.

Keychron Q5 shell continues the Q series family design, it is relatively thick, Gasket structure, and the border cannot be too narrow, and it is relatively wide and thick. In addition, the edges and corners are not very curved, and the edges are not treated with arc, which is relatively uncomfortable to touch. Among them, there is a separate upper and lower cover and is fixed by screws. Keychron Q5 supports full-key hot-swap, compatible with three-leg and five-leg shafts, lower light position, and RGB.
