is now Guangwu Mountain Red Leaf Festival . The leaves are red, and the Red Leaf is really beautiful. Many people want to go to Guangwu Mountain, Bazhong, Sichuan to see the red leaves. I am a backpacker alone, so I will share my experience.

guangwu Mountain is located in the northern part of Nanjiang County, Bazhong City. It is named after the clouds and mist all year round. From late October to mid-November every year, the red leaves of the mountains and ridges are rare and natural, with plain faces facing the sky. At this time, there are many people who see the red leaves, and you must book accommodation in advance.

Look at the above traffic map. When you arrive at Bazhong, go directly to Jiangbei Passenger Station to take the bus. Jiangbei Passenger Station has a shuttle bus directly to Guangwushan Taoyuan Scenic Area, 70 yuan. You can follow the "Bayun Travel" official account on WeChat to purchase tickets. There will be a handling fee of 3 yuan, a total of 73 yuan, and it will take a bus for about two hours.
Remember: Be sure to ask the driver for the phone number and call the driver when you return to Bazhong, because there are few cars in Guangwushan Town and the transportation is inconvenient.

Guangwu Mountain Scenic Area is very large, consisting of Taoyuan Scenic Area, Da Dam Scenic Area (Beige Mountain Scenic Area), Mouyang Ancient City Scenic Area, Eighteen Moon Lake Scenic Area , Shenmen Cave Scenic Area, and Xiaoyaxia Scenic Area. The distance between the scenic areas is very far.
Taoyuan Scenic Area to Da Da Scenic Area (Micangshan): 8.5 kilometers
Taoyuan Scenic Area to Eighteen Moon Lake Scenic Area: 104 kilometers
Taoyuan Scenic Area to Xiaowuxia Scenic Area : 75 kilometers
It is particularly inconvenient to not drive by yourself, because there is no direct train or direct viewing train between scenic spots.

Note: Because the entrance of Taoyuan Scenic Area is written with "Guangwu Mountain", many people don't know that this attraction is a scenic spot in Guangwu Mountain Scenic Area.

I went to Taoyuan Scenic Area. There are no hotels and B&B in Taoyuan Scenic Area. They all live in Guangwushan Town outside the scenic area.
I live in Yijinyuan Farmhouse, Immigration Street, Guangwushan Town, and found it on Meituan . I arrived at around 11 am. Only the B&B on Immigration Street is a little cheaper, because it is more than 2 kilometers away from Taoyuan Scenic Area and takes about half an hour to walk. You can eat in the B&B, and you can pay at the same time.
There is also a snack bar outside the entrance of Taoyuan Scenic Area.
Warm reminder: During peak season, you must book accommodation in advance, otherwise there will be no place to stay. Even if you find a hotel, the accommodation is very expensive.
4: Taoyuan Scenic Tickets: 80 yuan
Sightseeing Train Tickets: 40 yuan
Note: If you buy a ticket after 3 o'clock in the afternoon, this ticket can still be used the next day (I went to Taoyuan Scenic Area on October 21, 2021. If this policy has not changed in the future, I will ask the scenic spot staff for specific reasons)
Thoughts:
At least two days to visit Taoyuan Scenic Area
If the entire Guangwu Mountain Scenic Area is in-depth, it will be at least one week. But you can choose to visit one or two scenic spots in Guangwu Mountain.
Although the leaves were not red when I went there, and I occasionally saw a few red leaves, the mountains of the scenic area were covered with clouds and mist, which was very beautiful.
Guangwushan Taoyuan Scenic Area is indeed very beautiful, a veritable 5A-level scenic area.
