On the morning of July 11, the 2022 Fifth Rural Cultural Tourism Festival in Taoyuan County, with the theme of "Peach Blossom Spring everywhere, green mountains and green waters to sleep at night" was grandly opened in Saiyang Village, Shaping Town. Pang Bo, Deputy Mayor of Changde Municipal People's Government and Secretary of Taoyuan County Party Committee, announced the opening of the 5th Rural Tourism Festival in Taoyuan County in 2022.
Wang Lingshu, deputy secretary of the Party Group and executive deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film and Sports, and Zhong Li, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and deputy county magistrate, delivered speeches respectively. The tourist attraction promotion video endorsed by the relevant leaders of the four major officials was officially released at the opening ceremony.
This event will take "tourism + homestay" as the main content, recommend Taoyuan boutique homestays, high-quality tourism projects, characteristic agricultural and sideline products, ecological vegetable and fruit picking information, etc., and print Taoyuan's entire tourism map and homestay guide, and release annual preferential policies for scenic spots and homestays and reception points such as Maple Forest Flower Sea, Wuyunjie Ecological Park, Reshi Yunding Hot Spring Tourism Resort, Taohua Xueyuan Four Seasons Ski Resort, and awards for excellent grade scenic spots, travel agencies, rural tourism reception points, industrial tourism demonstration points, and tourism product shopping points. Four homestays, Jinji Xiaolu, Gaoshan Heyuan, Wuweishe, and Zhuxi Teahouse, were awarded the first batch of star-rated homestays in Taoyuan County. Not only was a colorful cultural performance held on the same day, but the online broadcast was also broadcast simultaneously, showing the scenery and cultural style of Taoyuan in all aspects and three-dimensional.
In recent years, Taoyuan County has conscientiously implemented the decisions and deployments of the central government, provinces and cities, and has taken rural cultural tourism as an important means to promote the rural revitalization strategy. It has vigorously integrated advantageous resources such as mountains, rural areas, forests, and hot springs, and actively promoted the integrated development of cultural tourism, agricultural tourism, and tea tourism. It has successfully created the top ten rural tourism hotspots such as Fenglin Flower Sea, Yiwang Mountain Water, Reshi Hot Spring, Xingdefu Mountain, Shaping B&B, Xi'an Rafting, Cha'anpu Tea Travel, Niuchehe Tujiabianzhai, Yangxi Bridge Li Baoshan, and Yanwuxi Study Base. It has basically established a rural tourism ring line of "appreciating hundreds of flowers in spring, cooling summer, picking autumn joy, and bathing in winter hot springs", providing guests from all walks of life with a good place to experience homesickness and letting their moods go.
