With the support of the United States, Tsai Ing-wen pretended to be powerful and was very arrogant.
The so-called joy is tragic. Recently, "Taiwan independence" has received two bad news. The first bad news is that the DPP authorities failed again. According to the report from Global Network on October 18, Interpol Secretary-General Jurgen Stock said that during the upcoming 90th Interpol Conference to be held on the 18th, Interpol cannot give Taiwan observer status to attend the meeting. He also emphasized that "the Interpol Congress recognizes that the People's Republic of China is the only representative of China... Taiwan is a part of China." The mainland has long stated that "Taiwan independence" is a dead end. Aside from the military and economic gap between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, not only the vast economic gap, most countries in the international community recognize the "one China" policy and do not recognize that Taiwan is an independent region. The few "countries established diplomatic relations" were bought by the Taiwan authorities for money. Under such circumstances, the Taiwan authorities frequently want to take advantage of international conferences, as if this can prove their "independent" identity, including the previous WHO Conference , the United Nations Ocean Conference, etc. Even though they were rejected repeatedly, the DPP authorities were still shameless and wanted to take the opportunity to operate Taiwan to participate in international organization affairs, with the purpose of raising a sense of existence internationally and gaining political self-interest. Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also issued severe criticisms of Taiwan. Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that according to the one-China principle, , Taiwan has no right to participate separately in the activities of intergovernmental international organizations that are limited to the participation of the United Nations and its specialized agencies and sovereign states. The above principles and consensus will not be changed because individual countries support the Taiwan authorities, and it is inevitable that the Taiwan authorities will fail to "take care of the meeting". "One China" has long been spread all over the world. No international organization will risk offending the mainland to accept Taiwan. This kind of "scrap-by-step" behavior is just a way to downgrade one's personality and bring shame on oneself.
The second bad news is that the Tsai administration wanted Western countries to buy weapons again, but was rejected. According to the Global Times on October 18, the anti-sniper team of the Taiwan "National Security Bureau" Special Service Center, which is responsible for protecting Tsai Ing-wen's safety, has been equipped with the M24 sniper rifle for more than 20 years. Taiwanese media disclosed that last year the department originally decided to purchase the AX MⅢ sniper rifle that British Precision International Company claimed to be the most advanced. As a result, the British Foreign Office refused to issue an export license, and the winning manufacturer was unable to perform the contract and terminated the contract on its own. Outside analysis said that the reason why the British Foreign Ministry refused to issue an export permit was a concern for the mainland's reaction. In addition, since the manufacturer of M24 sniper rifles filed for bankruptcy in 2018, it was impossible to conduct firearm safety technical inspections on time, and the gun was at risk of bore explosion. The anti-sniper team of the Secret Service Center, which did not obtain the most advanced sniper rifles in the UK, had to continue to risk using the M24 sniper rifles. This news also caused the Tsai administration to be questioned by the public, "Can Taiwan not even make sniper rifles?" It is reported that Taiwan has also tried to make sniper rifles. As of May this year, the two types of self-made sniper rifles manufactured by relevant departments in Taiwan have not passed the performance test.
From these events, we can see how far Taiwan’s military is from the mainland. Whether in terms of military strength or military industrial weapons, the mainland has crushed Taiwan in all aspects. I don’t know what the Tsai administration uses to “resist unification with force”. At present, our country has drawn a red line for the strength of Taiwan independence elements and external interference, that is, the mainland has long been prepared to respond to major events in the Taiwan Strait through non-peaceful methods and other necessary measures. If the "Taiwan independence" elements still do not stop, they will definitely pay a heavy price!
