As early as June 2020, the Department of Tea Studies of Hunan Agricultural University and Changsha Yunyou Tea Co., Ltd. had started cooperation and jointly built Yunyou Tea Tea Tree Germplasm Resources Garden. The resource garden covers an area of 8 mu. 37 pieces of tea tree germplasm resources of various types are stored in the garden, with 10 to more than 200 plants stored in each serving, with a total storage capacity of more than 3,000 plants. Among them, there are 6 national-level tea tree varieties resources, more than 10 local-level varieties, 1 foreign variety, and several unauthorized resources. Planting and preservation are the main way to preserve tea tree germplasm resources at present. The establishment of germplasm resource gardens is of great significance to the preservation, breeding of tea tree resources and the selection and breeding of new varieties.
The water reaches the river bank of Wangcheng, and the tea leaves Wangcheng is extremely fragrant. Wangcheng District has an existing tea cultivation area of 20,000 mu, with an annual total output of about 1,200 tons, with an output value of nearly 300 million yuan, driving more than 10,000 tea farmers to generate income and increase income. There are 6 tea processing enterprises, including 3 provincial leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, 2 provincial demonstration parks for modern agricultural characteristic industrial parks, and 2 enterprises certified by organic products.
