After more than a month of careful preparation, on July 11, the Qianfeng District 2018 grassroots cadres training class for the elderly was held in the conference room of the Century Vocational School. 242 cadres from the grassroots front-line offices of the district participated in the training. Standing Committee Member Yi Lin pointed out that caring about the work of the next generation is a strategic project that concerns the future and destiny of the country, a hope project that concerns the prosperity and development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and successors, a people-oriented project that concerns the vital interests of hundreds of millions of families, and a basic project of the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. The work committees at all levels in the district organize and care for the next generation of workers who care for the next generation must earnestly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on caring for the next generation, deeply understand the new requirements and new inspirations put forward by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era for caring for the next generation, and strive to promote the comprehensive progress of the work of caring for the next generation in the district.
Standing Committee Member Yi Lin emphasized that caring for the healthy growth of the next generation has become a great cause that the whole party and society pays attention to. A great cause and a bright future require the hard work and relay promotion of generations. In a few years or more than ten years, young friends will become the main force of the forward's economic and social development. The forwards' tomorrow will eventually be created by them. The committees of the Elderly at all levels in the district should organize and care for the next generation of workers from the strategic height of enhancing the economic and social development potential of the whole district, consciously enhance the sense of mission and responsibility of caring for the next generation, actively participate in the overall development of the district, constantly innovate work methods, expand work content, infect and educate our next generation with sincerity, effectively unleash the fog and light the lighthouse for the healthy growth of young people, make unremitting efforts to promote family and social stability, cultivate more useful talents for winning the decisive victory in a comprehensive well-off society, and provide inexhaustible strength and source for accelerating the construction of a beautiful, prosperous and harmonious forefront.
This training class focuses on the organization and construction of the Elderly Committee of the Elderly Committee, and invited old leaders and comrades of the Elderly Committee who have been engaged in caring for the next generation for many years to give special lectures. Comrade Yang Lunshan, deputy director of the District Committee for the Elderly, gave a detailed business explanation on the creation of the "Five Good" Village (Community) Committee for the Elderly of the Elderly of the Guang'an City.
