19 at around 7:30 pm on the 19th, Qiu Guolong, nicknamed "Aguo" and suspected of being a member of the "Wanguo Gang", fired at least 14 shots at the Hong-sen gang member "Adizai" and a younger brother in a commercial building on Hankou Street, Wanhua District, Taipei. The two were shot several times and fell to the ground. He turned around and left the scene.
Then, Qiu Guolong arrived near Qingshan Palace. As soon as he saw the elder brother of the "Wanguo Gang", Xu Wenxu, he fired three shots directly. Then he went to a beverage store opposite Qingshan Palace, run by Xu Wenxu, and held Xu's cousin, employee, wife and son hostage. In addition, he also fired four shots at the male policeman named Wang who was rushing to the arrival.
Taipei police then mobilized a large number of police forces, and Wanhua Branch, Criminal Police Brigade, Pili Group and others arrived at the scene. During the one-hour standoff, Qiu Guolong fired six shots to stop the police from rescue, and then released several hostages. Finally, before releasing Xu Wenxu's wife, he asked her to convey to the police that "I want to commit suicide, I hope the police will not take action." Afterwards, Qiu Guolong shot himself twice and committed suicide by drinking. At around 10 p.m., the hospital declared him dead.
Taiwan media said that the shooting caused 1 death and 4 injuries (the injured included a policeman), and the gunman fired at least 29 shots. Because the incident was too serious, not only Taipei Mayor Ke Wen-je, but also "Police Director" Huang Mingzhao came to the scene to take charge of the command.
Police said that the motive for the gunman’s crime remains to be clarified. The media disclosed that in 2019, the well-known chain business travel "Aikefa" that started in the Ximending business district of Taipei City broke out in disputes between the chairman and the general manager for business rights, and repeatedly made trouble on the media. The local "Wanguo Gang" was entrusted to help one of the parties to coordinate, occupy the business rights, and even led the crowd to vent their anger. Xu Wenxu was involved in the case and was arrested by the police. I don't know if the shooting is related to this.

He also said that after he had stood up for his friend and shot a gangster, he was conspired and oppressed for a year. Even though he compromised, the other party still refused to let go. He also said that he had no choice, "I can't stand it, society is just cannibalism."
