IT Home September 29th news, the latest iPadOS 16 Beta 4 beta released by Apple earlier this week will expand the display zoom option to iPad Pro 11-inch models in 2018 (A12X chip) and 2020 (A12Z chip) to provide more screen space. This feature was previously limited to iPad models equipped with M1 chip.
This feature can be enabled in the Settings application by clicking Display and Brightness → Display Zoom → More Space. Apple said this mode provides users with more screen space by zooming in on the display’s resolution, which is useful for features such as split-screen display and pre-stage scheduling. IT Home learned that Apple announced earlier this week that the pre-scheduling will be expanded to the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro models, although it does not support external display .
According to developer Steve Troughton-Smith, more space options are still limited to models equipped with M1 chip . Apple's iPadOS 16 is still in beta testing and will release the large version of iPadOS 16.1 in October.
