As various vaccines are launched one after another, counterfeit "new crown vaccines" are frequent at home and abroad. Recently, public security organs in Jiangsu, Beijing, Shandong and other places successfully cracked a major case of manufacturing and selling fake COVID-19 vaccines. In order to make huge profits, the suspect used normal saline to sell fake COVID-19 vaccines, which brought great risks to the national epidemic prevention and control work.
Although there are few manufacturers of "emergency use" "new crown vaccine" on the market, rumors of "arranged vaccination" in various places have spread. According to the information currently available, a surge of fraud undercurrents at home and abroad are coming. It seems inevitable that fraudulent speculation will occur in extraordinary times, but we will not sit still and wait for death. It is very necessary to conduct a national early warning to generate "antibodies" against counterfeit vaccines. Why do fake vaccines appear in

01 How big is the market demand gap between the "new crown vaccine" at home and abroad?

According to the calculation of the global COVID-19 vaccines based on well-known domestic experts and experts from Johns Hopkins University in the United States, it is usually only when 70 to 90% of the population reaches immunity to the new coronavirus that a relatively stable basic condition can be established for a relatively stable herd immunity barrier. That is, based on the global population of 7.5 to 7.8 billion, the herd immunity of the new crown requires 5.25 to 6.75 billion people to be immunized. Considering that some vaccines require two doses to play an immune role, is currently in urgent need of at least 10 billion doses of "new crown vaccine" in the world.
In the existing global vaccine market structure, GSK (GSK), Sanofi, Merck, and Pfizer generally account for more than 90% of the vaccine market. Among them, the GSK vaccine ranks almost the first in the world, but the number of vaccines that can be supplied each year is only about 1 billion doses. The output of 10 billion doses of vaccine is an astronomical figure for global vaccine production capacity. Judging from the production capacity of only a few manufacturers that have begun to be launched for emergency use, it is almost a difficult number to complete in 2021.
Although my country's vaccine development is relatively leading, if a relatively stable 70-80% herd immunity barrier is established, at least 90-1.2 billion people will need to be vaccinated. According to the 18 companies that are being designed and promoted in China, expanding the annual production capacity of the new crown vaccine is about 1.8 billion doses (or even more), it is possible to achieve 900 million people vaccination in in my country, but they still face many difficulties and obstacles in the short term. The two major economies of the United States and the European Union have currently monopolized purchase orders of 900 million in advance. It is estimated that more than 1 billion in developed countries around the world will purchase, and have already booked to purchase 80% of the future vaccine supply share. International COVID-19 vaccine resource supply is seriously insufficient. China's vaccines, especially the "poor friends" of small and medium-sized developing countries, will definitely provide more support and assistance. If China supports about 3.5 billion people in developing countries to the outside world, China is likely to allocate 71% of its production capacity. Although China's epidemic is well controlled, the domestic demand situation is still very serious. Some experts also predict that by 2025, the market demand for the "new crown vaccine" may gradually shrink.

02 Why do criminals regard "new crown vaccine" as the key target for fraud?
The severe "new crown epidemic" situation at home and abroad and the severe shortage of "new crown vaccines" will inevitably make some criminals think that they can take advantage of the opportunity, take risks, and speculate and make fraud.
The current global epidemic prevention and control situation is severe. According to data from the World Health Organization on January 20, 2021, the cumulative number of confirmed cases of "new coronavirus pneumonia" in 220 countries and regions around the world has exceeded 100 million, and the number of deaths has exceeded 2 million. There are about 250 candidate vaccines for the new coronavirus worldwide under development, and at least more than 60 of them are entering clinical trial evaluations and have not yet officially launched. Currently, 17 institutions in China are studying or have some products (conditional) available for sale.
According to the "Vaccine Management Law", my country officially launched the "emergency use" of the new crown vaccine (within a certain range and time limit) on July 22, 2020. There are currently nearly 40 million people vaccinated for emergency groups. Some provinces and cities are expected to expand the vaccination population on a large scale after the Spring Festival. However, there are still conditions and restrictions on vaccination in a larger population that should be used across the country, and the huge gap in the market still cannot meet the needs. now has a market price for domestic vaccines within 500 yuan per dose, and the country will implement a free vaccination plan for all people . "Free for all" may have a great impact on the sales volume of domestic counterfeit vaccine market, but criminals still have the opportunity to use counterfeit vaccines to fill the short market with various factors such as time difference, special groups, online e-commerce, functional fraud, and remote areas.After analysis, the target selection of counterfeiters is as follows:
) Factors of domestic and foreign market demand: the current epidemic situation is in short supply for free, which cannot meet market needs;
) Factors of special drug prices: the initial vaccine price is high, and the temptation is great (it is difficult to be universally available for free now);
) Factors of therapeutic effect: After the application of the vaccine, its immune effect itself cannot be expressed quickly from the appearance;
) Factors of undercurrent operation: The product is convenient for undercurrent and targeted sales in private, and special groups are easy to avoid regulatory attention;

"National Free Vaccination Plan" will have an impact on the sales volume of fake vaccines, but criminals can still use a variety of factors to fill in the shortage market. The picture shows a comparison of true and false vaccines, and the packaging is very similar. These counterfeiting factors, coupled with the "vaccination rumors notice" that have appeared successively in various provinces and cities across the country (the purpose of the rumor: indeed selling counterfeit vaccines invisibly; phishing fraud; defrauding personal information; deliberately taking advantage of the popularity of the Internet), all signs have exposed the undercurrents of counterfeiting that are surging underground, and they should be vigilant enough.
03 What are the typical events of fake "new crown vaccine" that have been discovered at home and abroad?
At present, counterfeit "new crown vaccine" products have experienced individual "point-tap" situations in some countries and some regions in China. As various "new crown vaccines" at home and abroad continue to be officially launched, batch counterfeit "new crown vaccines" will also wait for an opportunity to launch, and the peak of counterfeiting will surely appear soon. case 3: Brazil The National Health Supervision Administration (Anvisa) recently received a complaint that someone purchased the so-called "new coronavirus vaccine" developed by Oxford University in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, and was later tested as a fake and shoddy product . There are also those who sell counterfeit China's "KSKI new crown vaccine". The fake medicine contains all certificates and sells for 50 reals. Some scammers have adopted a very modern approach to selling full versions of the COVID-19 vaccine online. 04 Which type of "new crown vaccine" and manufacturer products at home and abroad are more likely to be imitated and made fake?
There are many types of "new crown vaccines" currently being developed at home and abroad. The research and development and use of the "new crown vaccine" is a stress response product for the whole world or mankind. After the outbreak of the epidemic, my country quickly established a scientific research team to promote vaccine research and development in parallel from five major technical directions: inactivated vaccine , genetically engineered recombinant subunit vaccine, adenovirus vector vaccine, attenuated influenza virus vector vaccine, and nucleic acid vaccine.
Currently, the types and manufacturers of vaccines that are prone to counterfeiting at home and abroad are relatively complex. 05 What are the means and raw materials for counterfeiting "new crown vaccines" at home and abroad?
We analyze the counterfeiting molecules that are publicly reported by domestic and foreign media, and combined with the appearance characteristics of vaccine drugs that have been mastered, generally there are the following methods of counterfeiting:
1, direct counterfeiting . From packaging, labeling, anti-counterfeiting, internal drugs, manufacturers of corresponding products, some use injection water and normal saline purchased directly from the market. , glucose, other vaccine adjuvant formula ingredients (the vaccine looks similar) and other direct counterfeiting (the cost is only a few cents). The feature is that it does not contain any effective immunization ingredients, the number of counterfeit vaccine batches is large, and can be sold at home and abroad through indirect channels of multinational e-commerce.
2, change the signature and counterfeiting . Use other types of pre-installed vaccine preparations with similar appearance and shape, replace the packaging logo, or apply it to replace the printing font to counterfeit; the feature of this counterfeiting model is that it is convenient to operate , products with similar appearances are easily available in the market (such as influenza vaccines, other expired vaccines, etc.), and microinjections have almost no obvious toxic side effects; but due to the limited number of products obtained, there will be more versions of counterfeiting from different gangs.
3, and changing the dressing to counterfeiting . Directly collect packaging boxes, logos, pre-installed injection tools from original regular manufacturers through various channels (such as: through illegal drug dealers, nurses, nurses, caregivers, cleaning, garbage transporters, etc.), and reinstall them. Drugs with similar appearances are faked, and pre-filled and packed into the original packaging of pre-loaded vaccine injections into the original packaging and sales. Falsification characteristics: The quantity of the replacement of the medicine is not very large, but the "pointing" is highly concealed.

This method can easily avoid the patient's vision. After use, it is almost impossible to verify and detect the drugs that have been replaced. It is almost impossible to collect evidence and test again.
- mixed : genuine products are mixed with fake drugs, especially collective batch injection of vaccines and other large loopholes.
In order to prevent the above situations, loopholes can be strictly eliminated from multiple links including multiple people, including users, and "destroy" the syringe immediately after vaccination, and prevent fraud.
06How can the general public more easily distinguish the fake "new crown vaccine"?
Because the medical product identification technology is very professional, and the biological products and vaccine identification technology is more professional, as an ordinary consumer, in addition to going to a regular place to get the new crown vaccine in order to prevent fake from being vaccinated with the new crown vaccine , it is a relatively easy method to use traceability (traceability) information verification. Some foreign pharmaceutical products are basically similar to the annotation, query verification and use principles such as "traceability information code" and "reliance on the code" in my country's packaging marks. Currently, most people can scan the traceable barcode or QR code in the packaging logo to effectively query through mobile phone scanning. This method is also called extended information verification (source tracking method). It is to track vaccine source, manufacturer qualification verification, product qualification verification, administrative supervision confirmation, online data review, barcode, registration number query, import and export product verification verification, etc.
Two views: Look at the turbidity, look at the tag
Look at the turbidity : Appearance clarity trait characteristics: New crown vaccines are often the same as other vaccines, with very few injections, and the appearance difference is relatively small. Generally, it is just a difference in packaging and packaging form: However, the clarity (turbidity) characteristics of the new crown vaccine are obviously turbid (the degree of turbidity vaccination vaccination is different, and there is obvious flocculent precipitation after placement).
