After a day of extreme endurance test, until the vehicle is stuck, what will the actual test endurance score of Geometry A be?
Geometry A has two battery life versions: standard battery life and super long battery life. There are three models under different battery life versions: square version, cubic version and powerful square version. The standard NEDC range is 410km, and the super long NEDC range is 500km. The route we tested this time is still along the Beijing 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 ring roads, starting from the underground parking lot of Yonghe Hangxing Garden, driving counterclockwise along the loop road, from the Second Ring Road through the Airport Expressway to the Third Ring Road, then through the Airport Expressway to the Fourth Ring Road, through the Jingcheng Expressway The fifth ring road is on the fifth ring road, and then the sixth ring road is on the Jingcheng Expressway. Finally, the lower sixth ring road is near the South Sixth Ring Majuqiao . At this time, the power is exhausted and stopped next to the street.

Among them are the second ring road that is congested during the morning rush hour, the third ring road that is busy in the morning, the fourth and fifth ring roads in the afternoon, and the smooth sixth ring road. According to the total mileage of the five ring roads, we thought that when Geometry A runs on the Sixth Ring Road, it will be almost exhausted, but the fact is Geometry A Not only did we run to the Sixth Ring Road calmly, but we also ran around the Sixth Ring Road for more than half a lap. No one of us expected this kind of battery life.
at about 9:10 in the morning, Geometry A was fully charged in the underground parking lot of Yonghe Hangxing Park near North Second Ring Road , and then we set out to the North Second Ring Road counterclockwise. . We cleared all subtotal mileage and power consumption, and the power is displayed at this time. The battery is displayed at 100%, and the remaining battery life is displayed at 410km.
Geometry A has three energy recovery levels, and it can only be adjusted through a virtual button in front of the gear lever. It is still difficult to find Geometry A for the first time. After the experience before testing, setting the energy level to medium in the urban area is a suitable choice. After the Fifth Ring Road, we set the energy recovery level to low, so that we can maintain a comfortable driving experience at high speed.
We set the air conditioner at 24℃ throughout the whole process, and the air volume is one gear. The weather conditions on the test were cloudy and there were a few light rains during the day. The temperature was not particularly hot, but Beijing was still a bit humid and stuffy on the sun, so our air conditioner throughout the whole process was shown. In addition, even if the air conditioner of Geometry A was adjusted to one gear, it had a good air volume.
This relatively boring battery life test is indispensable for entertainment. Fortunately, Geometry A's car computer is relatively advanced, including smart voice, radio, online music, Bluetooth music, etc., and our multimedia system along the way is almost always turned on.
Beijing is very busy every day. Even if it is almost 10 am, there are still many traffic accidents on the ring road, and the traffic conditions are not optimistic.
During peak hours, the traffic volume is large, and Geometry A comes with a driving recorder. The biggest advantage of the original recorder is its beauty and convenience in recording.
Geometry A's 360° panoramic image function not only supports top view, but also supports 3D views, and the angle can be adjusted at will from the "God's perspective". The display resolution is relatively high and the display is also very delicate.
Geometry A has a built-in Gaode map, which can display real-time road conditions and online updates. The usage method is no different from the mobile phone map. After integrating the voice function, the car terminal is even more convenient than the mobile phone terminal.

It can realize collision warning, active braking, lane keeping, automatic follow-up, and adaptive cruise in full speed domain. The actual experience is quite worry-free.

After going to the Fifth Ring Road, I was running all the way with speed limit. Here I have to mention that Geometry A's interior design is very sci-fi cutting-edge and has a full sense of design. Moreover, the texture rendering is quite good. The dashboard is a very simple 4.2-inch display and is fixed to the steering column of the steering wheel. There is an information-rich HUD head-up display in front, and the visual size of the head-up display is even larger than that of the dashboard.
Geometry A's cockpit is sci-fi and textured, giving people a very noble feeling, but it is not so noble when used. The Geometry A cockpit is full of virtual buttons, and the reaction time after touching is relatively long. It is often unknown whether to press it accurately. Moreover, the hive light grid and gear indicator light below the center console are not bright enough and difficult to identify. This situation will be more serious if it is sunny.
Geometry A has another interesting thing, that is, its glove box can set the password, and the opening method is the button in front of the lever. When setting a password, you have to enter the password on the screen to enable it. However, there is a small bug here, that is, the entered password will be displayed. Perhaps this is for driving safety considerations, and setting a password only works when the vehicle is borrowed.
From the energy flow of the central control screen, it can be seen that the Geometry A battery is not a regular rectangular battery, but rather a special-shaped battery that makes full use of the interior space, with layouts under the rear seats and at the central channel.
However, due to this battery layout, the overall floor of Geometry A's car is slightly higher and the sitting posture is a bit uncomfortable. The shorter cushion length does not support the legs. However, this baby-grade fabric seat has good comfort and environmental protection, and it is only available in high-end models. Low-end models are leather seats. (Yes, you read it correctly)
Geometry A is equipped with a large panoramic sunroof. It is a bit like the glass roof on the Model 3. The lighting inside the car is quite good, and the roof sky curtain is equipped with sunshade, which makes up for the lack of being scorched by the sun on the Model 3.
Geometry A extreme battery life test: After low battery
We are on the sixth ring road from the Beijing Cheng Expressway and drive counterclockwise. When we arrive at the Southwest Sixth Ring Road, our battery capacity is less than 10%. The on-board map will actively prompt that the power is insufficient and recommend nearby charging stations.
After the author's actual test, Geometry A will not have any restrictions on power at a low battery state. Even the moment before the power is completely drained, we can still drive at high speed and can still switch to sports mode. The only difference is that the instrument panel will prompt that the power is insufficient, it is recommended to switch to ECO mode.
When the power is still 0.6%, we went down the sixth ring, and the mileage is only 2km, but at this time I am not panicking at all, because I think Geometry A will set at least about 10km of redundant power. But it turns out that I should be panicked at this time. If we miss this lower intersection, we will definitely be left on the South Sixth Ring Road.
The fact was beyond my expectations. Geometry A was very "real". When the power was gone, it was really gone. And at the moment when the power was displayed at 0%, it was quite straightforward and suddenly lost its power. At this time, we were driving on a small road. In front of us, we thought of stopping it on the side of the road after passing the traffic post, but the red light was on, so I could only stop Geometry A. Before stopping, the steering assist was suddenly lost.
Finally, Geometry A stopped on the sidewalk in this handsome and unique posture, because it lost its directional help, and the wheels were frozen in this position. The final actual battery life was fixed at 406km, which was only 4km error from NEDC.
0 geometry A can't change the gear position after the A is lying in, so you can only hang in P and N gears. It does not have a clear trailer mode. When you are towing, just hang it into N gear.
The moment when the steering assist is lost, it is actually a bit dangerous. I don’t know if it will lose assist at a higher speed, and the consequences will be unimaginable. When we tested, the help was lost when the vehicle was about to stop, but there were pedestrians on the roadside, and they didn't know the situation inside the car, which was also dangerous. The most important thing is that there are no hints or signs in all of this.
Although some designs after power outage have safety risks, the battery life of Geometry A is still worthy of recognition. This "righteous boy"'s mileage is quite "real".

When the remaining power is 0, Geometry A will suddenly lose power while driving, and when it is about to stop, the steering assist will also be lost, and there is no prompt in the whole process. If the vehicle runs out of power at a highway or intersection with complicated traffic conditions, then such a setting is still very dangerous.
Geometry A's chassis is actually relatively low, so everyone should pay more attention when using the car. From the perspective of the illustration, it can be seen that the height of the power battery of Geometry A is significantly lower than the height of the suspension of the rear torsion beam. As a pure electric vehicle, it still needs more care for the power battery.

From the segmented test data of Geometry A, it can be seen that the power consumption is the highest on the congested second ring, while when the third and fourth rings with large traffic flow and low average speeds are low, the power consumption is reduced. When the fifth and sixth rings are on the fifth and sixth rings, the power consumption has increased. I believe that if you drive at a speed of 120km/h, the power consumption may be higher than the power consumption on the second ring. From this we can also conclude that the most power-saving working condition is the slow-moving section with an average speed of 40-50km/h, and our best power consumption in one day occurs in the second half of the third ring road, which is 10kW·h/100km.
Before departure, my colleagues and I made predictions on the actual battery life of Geometry A. When we were riding at least two people in the car, the air conditioner was on and the audio system was turned on throughout the journey, the author guessed that the actual battery life of Geometry A was about 330km, and most of my colleagues also guessed that the actual battery life of 300km or 360km. No one would think that the actual battery life of a pure electric vehicle with a NEDC range of 410km can exceed 400km. However, Geometry A slapped us in the face with facts, and the actual test score of 406km surprised everyone.
If the battery life of Tesla Model 3 is very "real", it is because the actual battery life of Model 3 is not much different from the already stricter EPA operating condition display mileage, and its actual test score is 99km error with the NEDC 590km score. The error between the actual test score of Geometry A and the NEDC 410km is only 4km, and the display battery life of Geometry A is undoubtedly more realistic.
