The international exhibition attracted 8 solo exhibitions, 8 curators and 4 school exhibitions, including famous Russian curator Irina Chimereva, famous Australian curator Alasdale Foster and other well-known international curators and photographers. The works of three world fashion photography masters, Don Penny, Richard Pierce, and Bill Hoibogo, were also collectively unveiled in Pingyao, making this exhibition more "international".

College Exhibition is a major feature and highlight of Pingyao International Photography Exhibition. A total of 90 domestic colleges and 4 international colleges participated in the exhibition. Among them, the Parsons New Design Institute in the United States has participated in the exhibition for 14 consecutive years since 2008; the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom participated in the Pingyao International Photography Exhibition for the first time. Its photography major was founded in 1849 and is one of the oldest photography majors in the world.

This year's exhibition takes "respect" as the theme of the poster, paying tribute to the glorious journey of Pingyao International Photography Exhibition for 22 years, focusing on building an internationally renowned cultural brand, committed to promoting and spreading Chinese culture, and using images to tell Chinese stories.
