Among them, the theme exhibition "Together to the future", wonderfully displays the style of the Beijing Winter Olympics, promotes the spirit of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and demonstrates Chinese wisdom and the world's mind. The academic exhibition is more professional. With the title of "20 Years of New Photography", we invited witnesses and participants from that year to Pingyao again to sort out the development of contemporary Chinese photography art and discuss the 20-year history of "20 Years of New Photography". The international exhibition is more international, attracting 8 solo exhibitions, 8 curators and 4 school exhibitions, including famous Russian curator Irina Chimereva, famous Australian curator Alasdale Foster and other internationally renowned curators and photographers. As a major feature and highlight of Pingyao International Photography Exhibition, the School Exhibition has participated in the exhibition with more than 90 domestic and international colleges. The
exhibition also provides more young photographers with a platform to learn and show their talents. The PIP Youth Photography Competition Works Exhibition, PIP Youth Photography Exhibition, Youth Curator Training Program and other projects for young people continue to deliver fresh blood to Chinese photography.
22, Pingyao has nourished the exhibition with its profound cultural accumulation, forging an immortal legend of light and shadow art; the exhibition has provided unique photography art to the ancient city and shining the glory of the times of history and culture. Wei Jiangfeng, secretary of Pingyao County Party Committee and director of the exhibition organizing committee, said that in the past 522 years, more than 50,000 photographers and 280,000 works from more than 100 countries and regions have participated in the exhibition, attracting more than 4.5 million tourists from home and abroad to visit the exhibition.
