Integrated circuit is the core of the information technology industry, a strategic, basic and pioneering industry that supports economic and social development and safeguards national security, and is a must-fight area for major countries and regions in the world to seize the commanding heights of the industrial economy.
In order to further encourage the healthy and rapid development of integrated circuit enterprises with market competitiveness and investment value in my country, we will further summarize the successful model of enterprise development, explore excellent innovative enterprises in my country's integrated circuit field, systematically value outstanding enterprises, and enhance the international and domestic influence of the enterprises. Based on the successful holding of four consecutive selection activities, the 2021-2022 (fifth) China IC unicorn selection activity jointly sponsored by CIDI Consulting Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xinhehui Technology Co., Ltd. lasted for two months, and received more than 300 companies self-recommendation and institutional recommendations. After the preliminary review of the review team, 93 companies were shortlisted. According to the review and combination, a total of 46 IC unicorn companies were selected. Among them, 13 are unicorn companies that have continued in previous years, and 33 are newly selected unicorn companies.
This collection and selection are carried out to outstanding enterprises in all aspects of the integrated circuit industry such as domestic integrated circuit design, application technology, chip manufacturing, packaging and testing, materials, equipment, etc. Through the combination of industrial evaluation model evaluation and scoring of the expert judges group, relevant enterprises are evaluated and investment value evaluation, and the list of "China IC unicorn" selected enterprises is determined based on the selection results, and announced to relevant authoritative media in China.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, the fifth China IC unicorn list award ceremony will be postponed to the "2022 World Semiconductor Conference" to August 19, 2022, and the fifth China IC unicorn Forum will also be held during the same period.
