According to the new discovery posted on Reddit by u/Leopeva64-2, Google's latest Chrome Canary allows users to to drag and drop download files outside pop-ups . This feature brings many new uses, including dragging files directly from the download panel to the desktop.
IT Home learned that the old bottom bar download of Chrome browser supports file drag and drop, and later it was changed to a pop-up window in the upper right corner but it disappeared. This improvement is a return to the old function. You can download Chrome Canary by yourself to try it out, but you need to enable the download-bubble experimental option.
