Putian is located in the middle of the coast of Fujian. It is surrounded by mountains and seas, with outstanding people and beautiful places. It is known as the "famous country in literature" and "Zou and Lu on the coast". Since the Tang and Song dynasties, many outstanding figures who shine on Shicheng have been nurtured on this magical land, including many famous calligraphers and painters who are leading the generation. They left many dazzling treasures for the treasure house of Chinese art. Especially in the Ming Dynasty, four great masters of Putian painting emerged one after another in Li Zai , Zengjing , Wu Bin , and Song Yu. They set up sects, shining on the times, and benefiting future generations. In modern times, the emergence of the "Li Geng Painting School" has brought about a huge east wind in the Putian painting world. At present, the Putian painting world is full of flowers, colorful flowers, excellent works compete for beauty, and outstanding talents are as brilliant as stars. Many of their works have won awards at the National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, and many painters have been awarded membership of the Chinese Artists Association. 1. Sutian
was born in 1926, from Putian, Fujian, graduated from the Department of Art of Fuzhou University (currently the Department of Art of Normal University), and a member of the China-American Association. He has served as a director and chief editor of Fujian Arts Association. Good at comics and landscape paintings. His works have participated in national art exhibitions many times and have been circulated in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, and have been collected by people from all walks of life.
2. Yao Tianmu
was born in , Hanjiang District, Putian in , and grew up in Xianyou County. At the age of 13, he learned painting with Zhang Ying, a master of Chinese painting master Li Geng. In 1951, he was admitted to the Painting Department of Northeast Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated in 1955 and was assigned to work in Shanxi. In 1959, the Shanxi Artists Association was preparing for the establishment and transfer work, and served as secretary, deputy secretary-general, secretary-general, vice chairman and chairman of the Shanxi Artists Association.
