Golden October, the autumn is clear and refreshing, it is a good time for exercise. On the evening of October 12, the 2020 Xiegang Town 3 "Party Mass Cup" basketball game came as scheduled. This event, which has been held for the third consecutive year, aims to inspire the courageous spirit of party members and cadres in the town to take responsibility, enhance the cohesion of the party and the masses, and help build a "Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing New City, Quality Ecological Relief Post".
This competition is hosted by the People's Government of Xiegang Town, guided by the Office of the Leading Group for Strengthening Party Building Work and the Xiegang Town Sports Committee, hosted by the Dongguan Newspaper Media Group and Xiegang Town (National) Youth Sports Club, co-organized by the Xiegang Town Health Bureau, Xiegang Hospital, Xiegang Town All Media Center, Xiegang Town Cultural Radio and Television Service Center, Xiegang Town New Era Civilization Practice Center Sports Volunteer Service Team, Xiegang Town Social Sports Instructor Service Station, and sponsored by Yicheng Grand View Garden.
Xiegang Town "Party and Mass Cup" basketball game was founded in 2018 and ushered in its third this year. This event was still warmly welcomed by all party branches in the town. After receiving the registration notice, each party branch actively formed a team to participate. In the end, 34 teams competed for this "Party and Mass Cup".
On the first match day, the event organizing committee held a simple and grand kick-off ceremony before the match. Subsequently, four games were staged one after another, attracting many citizens to watch and cheer for the participating teams. After fierce competition, four teams including the Party, Mass Culture and Education, Huaneng Branch, Fire Fighting Branch, and Guild Association Branch achieved a "good start".
As the sponsor of this event, China Merchants Shekou Company cooperated with Xiegang Town People's Government, Dongguan Newspaper Media Group and other units to hold the event. On the one hand, in order to better promote the further development of Xiegang's national fitness and enhance the physical fitness of the whole people; on the other hand, it has built a platform for mutual communication for various enterprises and institutions in Xiegang, so that citizens can have a further understanding of China Merchants Shekou Company.
It is worth mentioning that the competition system of this event is different from the regular basketball game. Based on the latest " Basketball Competition Rules ", special regulations have been formulated to combine competition with fun to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of cadres and the masses in the town to truly achieve "heart to heart and strengthen the body".
According to the arrangement, the event is divided into three stages, and the final ranking will be announced on October 27.
