Zhijiang University has a history of 160 years. It is the eight universities of higher learning founded in China by the United States in Yanjing, Union, St. John, Jinling, Soochow, Xiangya and West China. It still preserves the architectural complex of the 100-year-old campus.
The principal of that year, Li Enpei, was very busy in order to make talents teach and cultivate talents. So on this nearly 600 acres of land at Zhijiang University, there were Toulongtou's family dormitory areas, Erlongtou's villa areas, and some small buildings in Hangzhou city.
In this building complex, in addition to the remarkable ten and five, there are also Western-style garden villas such as red houses, green houses, white houses, and gray houses... Most of these beautiful rooms are for professors to live in, giving them a comfortable home between the mountains and rivers beside Liuhe Tower. 1951, the Chinese government promulgated the regulations on taking over foreign investment to establish education and medical institutions, and Zhijiang University also belongs to this. It is the first experimental building since its founding. In November 2010, the second phase of the Zhijiang Campus was completed, and Building 5 became the Law Branch of Zhejiang University Library
(Eight) Building 6,
., was originally named Pei Weizhai (original as a teacher dormitory, later changed to a female dormitory, referred to as Weizhai). It was built in 1926 and was designed by the Architectural Department of the school. Building 6 is made of gray bricks, with white columns and green windows, and three tiger windows on the roof.
