In order to improve the difficulties in Yang Yongchang's family, Comrade Wang Xiaopei and the person in charge of assistance went to Yang Yongchang's home many times to understand the situation, and applied for dilapidated house renovation, kitchen renovation, and toilet renovation for him, and improved the courtyard environment; repeatedly mobilized Yang Yongchang to make his wife Sun Yuhua and his son Yang Fasheng do mental disability assessment, help him apply for a disability certificate, and allow Sun Yuhua and Yang Fasheng to enjoy living and nursing subsidies for the disabled; in view of the lack of labor at home and unable to increase income by working, Comrade Wang Xiaopei negotiated with the village committee to open public welfare positions in the village through the village collective economic income, and arranged for Yang Yongchang to be a post for banning publicity personnel in the village to increase the income of poor households, so that Yang Yongchang could get rid of poverty by the end of 2019.
As of now, 20 of the 21 poor households in Gangshen Village have been honored to be lifted out of poverty. The remaining household will be lifted out of poverty this year.
