Wujiayuan Reservoir and Shibakong Reservoir also opened flood discharge tunnels at 9:45 and 9:00 on the 5th, with drainage flows of 35 cubic meters per second and 20 cubic meters per second respectively. Through peak staggered scheduling, as of 17:00 on the 5th, the cumulative discharge volume of major reservoirs reached more than 4 million cubic meters, preparing for the next stage of flooding. While the reservoir is freed up, the Xiaojiangtang River Control Gate, Zhujia Station Gate, Xiaojiang Water Gate, Xiaqiao Water Gate, and Bailiu Water Gate of the downstream Pingyuan River Network drains all the stations, demonstrating the "dragon water absorption" strength. According to statistics, from 17:00 on the 5th, the major sluice gates have drained a total of 90 million cubic meters of water, which is equivalent to blocking 6.4 West Lake waters. The current water level at Lingxitang River station is 3.27 meters; the water level at Lingxi Dulong upstream station is 4.36 meters, both below the warning water level.
