Located in a classic 18th-century mansion in Moscow, Russia, local architecture and design collective Aquipa Studio recently transformed an outdated office into a new makeup studio of Russian makeup artist Elena Kritina. The compact one hundred and fifty square meters of space was stripped of the 1990s renovation and meticulously planned, including an entrance hall, manicure room, hairstyle area, small and large connecting hall, a private client room and a patio terrace.

As the architectural and design details of the building's initial period were removed in its previous incarnation as an office space, CasiPropa decided to carefully restore the nineteenth-century textured glass doors, a hangover from previous renovations, as well as on antique railings. Main staircase. Aside from these old-fashioned details, the architects created a simple, contemporary monochrome interior shell with minimalist touch.
With the original architectural and design details of the building removed from its previous incarnation as an office space, casipropa decided to carefully restore the 19th-century textured glass doors, a hangover from the previous decoration, as well as antique railings.
