Li Dewei recalled that, after Lee Teng-hui died in Chiang Ching-kuo , he was suddenly pushed to the throne of the leaders and chairman of Taiwan. He once admitted during a media interview that he had a record of training when he was young, but he has reformed himself. Huang Chengguo is close to Tsai Ing-wen. Huang Chengguo is very important in the Taipei Green Camp. During his past tenure as the chairman of the Taipei Party Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, he supported many new representatives.
