China Folk Art Peony Award is a national Folk Art Professional Award approved by the Central Committee and co-organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Folk Association. It is selected every two years. This year is the 12th session. According to the award rules of this year, programs and individuals who have won nominations for each award in the sub-competition area can enter the finals and finally compete for this year's Chinese Quyi Peony Award.
Dou Chenguang graduated from the Northern Quyi Academy and studied under the famous Quyi artist Wang Peiyuan. He also received guidance from many famous folk art masters such as Tian Liqiao, Wei Wenhua, Zhu Yongyi, and Wang Shiru. He has rich performance experience and is quite talented. He is a rare young folk art talent. He has won the "Best Combination" award in Tianjin TV's "Popular Don't Let's Go" program and the annual championship of the "Tianjin My Most Funny" program. In 2011, he won the second prize in the first invitational competition of the Bosiya Cup in North China; in 2018, he participated in Oriental TV's "There Are Newcomers in Crosstalk" and won the national quarter-finals; in 2019, he participated in Tianjin TV's "Smile and Welcome" and won the national quarter-finals; in 2020, he participated in the second Shaanxi Quyi Peony Awards Competition and won the "Performance Award". Chang Pengxu graduated from the Northern Quyi Academy of China. During his time at school, he ranked among the top professional level. He studied under the crosstalk performance artist Wang Peiyuan of the Haizheng Art Troupe. He was guided by many famous folk artists such as Yuan Kuocheng, Tian Lihe, Wei Wenhua, Wei Wenliang, Li Boxiang, Zhang Zhikuan, Wang Peiyuan, etc., and has rich performance experience.
