Beijing Third Intermediate People's Court held that the defendant Liu Qiang's behavior constituted the crime of accepting bribes and sabotaging the election, and should be punished for multiple crimes in accordance with the law. Given that after Liu Qiang was arrested, he was able to truthfully confess his crimes, actively confessed most of the facts of bribery that the case handler did not yet grasp, pleaded guilty and repented, and actively returned the stolen money and property, and had all the stolen money and property, and had statutory and discretionary circumstances for lenient punishment, and he could be given a lenient punishment according to law.
