There is a place in Kaiyang that is known as "the most beautiful scar on the earth". It is the Zijiang crack in Kaiyang. If the East Africa Rift Valley is magnificent, the Colorado Grand Canyon is rough, and the Zijiang crack is wonderful. Here you can enjoy the natural wonders of the rushing rivers. Early in the morning, the reporting team drove to Daya Village, Longgang Town, Kaiyang County. After meeting with villager Lao Wang, they began to head towards the crack of Zijiang.
Lao Wang's name is Wang Chaokun. He is native to Daya Village. He is 62 years old this year and is the most familiar person in the village with the cracks in Zijiang. After following Lao Wang for an hour, we entered the crack of Zijiang. The valley here is as deep as an abyss, and the charming Zijiang River is like a jade belt, floating past the bottom of the valley. The peaks on both sides are green and lush everywhere, and cliffs like cutting axes and knifes can be seen everywhere, which is spectacular.
Follow the mountain road and down the Zijiang River, the river breeze is lingering and the fragrance is faint, and from time to time, the chirping of insects and birds comes from my ears, like the sound of nature. As we walked, a world that seemed like a fairy tale came into our eyes.
A stream of clear springs flowed down from the mushroom-shaped travertine stone like silver hair, forming countless waterfalls hanging springs. It can be said that "flying pearls splash jade, flowing foam brushing the stone", which is so beautiful. Locals call this place Jiugujing. The beauty of Jiugujing is like a woman walking in the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River, beautiful and gentle.
The journey is difficult and dangerous, but on the way, I encountered the beautiful scenery like a fairyland - the snowflake waterfall, which makes me very happy!
Lao Wang said that compared to Jiugujing and Snowflake Waterfall, the beauty of the first-line sky can be described in two words, one is "strange" and the other is "absolute". When you come to the crack of Zijiang ground and don't go and see the first-line sky, it will be considered in vain. For the sake of "first-line", our reporters in "People's Focus" have fought hard!
