The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing from November 8 to 11, 2021.
Plenary Session listened to and discussed the work report made by Xi Jinping on the entrusted by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, reviewed and passed the "Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party's Centennial Struggle", and reviewed and passed the "Resolution on Convening the Twentieth National Congress of the Party".
Plenary Session decided that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be held in Beijing in the second half of 2022. The plenary session believes that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is a very important congress held by our party to enter the important moment of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and marching towards the new journey towards the second centenary goal. It is a major event in the political life of the Party and the country. The whole Party must unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups in the country to overcome difficulties and forge ahead, make new and greater contributions to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country, win the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with outstanding results.
