According to US media reports, Taiwan's super large container ship "Ever Given" under Evergreen shipping (Evergreen) stranded in the Suez Canal, causing the canal to "block ships" and may interfere with the supply of wood pulp. The "toilet paper chaos" may be staged.

U.S. Bloomberg reported on March 25 that Brazil-based eucalyptus pulp manufacturer Suzano is the world's largest wood pulp manufacturer. The company's CEO Walter Schalka said that demand for container ships has surged recently, and even bulk ship has been affected, which may lead to delayed Suzano shipment. He worried that the company's exports in March may be lower than originally expected and that some shipments have been delayed until April.

Shulka pointed out that shipping problems may become increasingly serious, and if the wood pulp trade is interrupted and toilet paper manufacturers do not have enough wood pulp stocks, it may eventually affect the toilet paper supply.
Bloomberg introduced that Brazil is the world's largest supplier of wood pulp, and Suzano accounts for about 1/3 of the global hardwood pulp supply. Hardwood pulp is the type of pulp used to produce toilet paper.

"World Daily" also pointed out on the same day that when the trade in container ships has "not been smooth", the "blocking of ships" in the Suez Canal may cause chaos in global shipping, exacerbate a new round of risks, which may lead to interruption of wood pulp supply and affect the production of toilet paper companies.
