According to Putian traffic police, the woman involved was surnamed Chen and had just become a mother. At that time, Chen had breastfeeded the 6-month-old baby at home, and after saying hello to his family, he carried the baby on his chest with a strap and rode an electric bike to his friend's house. At 9:20 that day, Chen rode to the traffic light of Xinjiao, 500 meters away from his home. The green light lit up. The car on the motor vehicle lane slowly moved forward. Chen, on the right side of the roadway, rode his bike to surpass the oil tanker truck next to him, and drove into the blind spot in front of the right of the oil tanker truck. The mother's spine was crushed and she died on the spot. The 6-month-old baby was dying. The police officers patrolling nearby rushed forward to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the baby.
