Kongxuetang was completed on September 28, 2012, and it has been nearly ten years since it was completed. Over the past ten years, Confucius Institute has always adhered to the purpose of inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and cultivating and practicing the core socialist values of , and has focused on creating a brand of charity lectures for traditional culture, aiming to share the essence of excellent traditional Chinese culture with more people through lectures from experts and scholars. In the past decade, nearly 900 lectures have been held, and a large number of well-educated experts from home and abroad have been invited to give lectures at the Confucius Institute, including Xu Jialu, Wang Meng, Shan Jixiang, , Liu Zhaoxuan (Taiwan, China), Du Weiming, (USA), and Xin Zhenggen (South Korea). The cumulative number of online and offline audiences is nearly 5 million. Since 2020, Confucius Institute has continued to improve and expand the "Cloud School", and held 254 traditional culture public welfare lectures through offline + online, live broadcast + on-site, etc., providing a "satisfactory" cultural experience to Guiyang citizens, students and tourists who like traditional culture.
On July 2, 2022, Confucius Institute will usher in the 900th Traditional Culture Charity Lecture. This lecture was taught by Mr. Yang Guorong, an internationally renowned Yangming Studies expert. The theme is "Wang Yangming's Heart Study and Its Meaning".
