Jiwei.com reported that the financial report released by Taiwan panel manufacturer Qunchuang today (9th) showed that the company's revenue in April reached NT$20.6 billion, a monthly decrease of NT$13.8% and an annual decrease of NT$32.1%; the cumulative revenue in the first four months reached NT$90.496 billion, a year decrease of NT$20.75%.
According to Taiwan media Economic Daily, Qunchuang shipped a total of 10.68 million large-size pieces in April, a monthly decrease of 10.9%; the shipments of small and medium-sized sizes totaled 26.55 million small-sized pieces, a monthly increase of 14.5%.
It is reported that Hong Jinyang, chairman of Qunchuang, said at a legal talk meeting in March that Qunchuang will increase the added value of the company's products through technology upgrades, expanding panel application scenarios and investing in panel startups. In addition, Hong Jinyang said that although Qunchuang has no plans to establish new production capacity, Qunchuang signed a 12-year contract with mainland China-based SDP Global, which will supply LCD panels based on the 10.5th generation glass substrate between 2021 and 2033.
