In 2012, the rich second-generation Li Zongrui was accused of picking up corpses and sexually assaulting and secretly photographing more than 30 women in a nightclub. The entire incident was first exposed in July 2012 and was sentenced to 22 years in prison in 2015. At that time, the case attracted great attention from the outside world. Now, mainland director Lu Zongyue announced that he had decided to make the incident a movie. On February 14, Lu Zongyue also posted an advertisement in Hong Kong media, selecting the roles of the female lead actor "Li Zongrui" and other roles to play and filming will be held on April 1 this year.
Lu Zongyue used to be the producer of the movie "The Hidden Dragon Sniper" starring Wu Jianhao, and is currently the general manager of the entertainment manufacturing company. According to Entertainment Manufacturing Company, it will be filmed in Taiwan by then, and is currently in talks with some Taiwanese actors.
Li Zongrui is the son of Li Yuecang, director of Yuanda Securities. He often goes to major nightclubs in Taiwan and has had scandals with many famous models, but he has no more than half a year of dating. In 2012, he was arrested by the police for drugging and raped several women. He was sentenced to 22 years and 10 months in prison in October 2015. He is currently serving his sentence. This case has shocked Taiwan society and will now be filmed into a movie and brought to the big screen. As soon as the news came out, it immediately sparked heated discussions on the outside world.
