In July and September 2020, Xu Guoxiang and Hu Zhengchun were successively investigated and investigated by the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission of Tieshan District and the Huangshi Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision and took detention measures.In the early stage of the review and investigation, the case handlers explained the relevant policies and party discipline and regulations to Hu Zhengchun and Xu Guoxiang, hoping that they would return to the wrong path and honestly explain the problems to the organization. According to the case, Xu Guoxiang has many family members involved in the case. The organization starts from the perspective of education and rescue and humane care. On the basis of respecting the facts, only Xu Guoxiang was left in the early stage. I hope that he and his family will actively cooperate with the review and investigation to minimize the impact on his family. However, the relevant personnel involved in the case fought against the organization of review and investigation, transferred stolen money and goods on a large scale, and even used money to bribe other personnel involved to "take the blame" for them, trying to hide the truth. In the end, Xu Guoxiang's four relatives involved in the case were also transferred to judicial authorities, awaiting legal sanctions.
As the continuous deepening of the review and investigation work, the facts of serious violations of discipline and law by Hu Zhengchun and Xu Guoxiang have been revealed. After investigation, Hu Zhengchun was suspected of accepting bribes of 36,000 yuan and embezzled 2.06 million yuan; Xu Guoxiang was suspected of accepting bribes of 360,000 yuan and embezzled 2.36 million yuan, and suspected of abuse of power, resulting in the loss of 15.72 million yuan in state shantytown redevelopment compensation funds. In December 2020 and February 2021, Xu Guoxiang and Hu Zhengchun were expelled from the Party and removed from public office, and were transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution in accordance with the law.
